I got some new stuff in today and yesterday.  Everything here is from assorted ebay listings with the exception of DOA 5 Ultimate, which was sort of an early Christmas gift.

That's about 30 guides in that last pic.  Fortunately most of them still have their original posters intact.  I'll probably end up hanging some up on my wall.   Smiley

P.S. Hope everybody made it through the weather okay.   To many sirens near me for my liking.  Had a tornado hit 2 blocks from me in the spring.

I picked up the collector's edition of Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I DON'T KNOW! from Amazon.

NFS: Rivals was from Amazon's B2G1 sale on PS4 games.

Wow, I'm pretty sure I actually had one of those TMNT games as a kid.  I remember it being REALLY bad, but looking back I think all of those Tiger-style electronic games were.  Oh well, at least they look cool   Cool

Edit:  Looking at the pic again, I think I had that Sonic game also...

Some stuff from the past few days.

Mario and Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Games (Wii U)
Sega Superstars Tennis (DS)
Tempo (32X) Courtesy of our good man RetroRage  Grin

And a Sonic plush backpack I found at the thrifts with a mutilated zipper stomach for storage. Just cut off the backpack straps and made a giant plush display figure. Also found a Sonic Christmas Blast DVD.

So, I had a pretty big week.  It was the kind of week that you have to actually set aside time to catalog everything you've bought.  First up are the random other media things I've picked up:

Pac-Man Fever album - .25
GTA Ultimate Codes DVD - $1.48
Video Game Secrets VHS - $1
Books - .20 a piece
Blockbuster video game lobby cards - $1 for all 20

I've been looking for the record and VHS tape forever.  I'm so glad to finally pick them up.  I have no idea what I'm going to do with all of those lobby cards, but they we're 5 cents a piece so I figured I'd grab them and think of what to do with them later.

Pic of the hardware I've grabbed:

Gamecube controller - $3.13
5200 Trakball - $8.68
Nintendo PC Controller - $6
Not pictured:  V.Smile system w/2 controllers and 4 games - $12.68

Boxed Atari items have been really hard to track down lately and this one is in pretty good shape.  I passed up a boxed 5200 because I couldn't justify the $40 price tag just for the box.  The Nintendo PC controller is odd.  From what I've found, it's the only PC item Nintendo has ever made, and according to a thread I saw on NA, it's pretty hard to find.  The V.Smile system was for my daughter.

Thrift store games:

Big box PC games - $3.13 each
Not big box PC games - .99
Jeopardy for Genesis, sealed - $2.92
Zoey 101 - .99
Elmo's Number Journey N64 - .99
Kung-Fu Heroes NES - .50
PS1 and PS3 games - .50 a piece

These were all from various thrifts around town.  Once again, big box PC games are amazing.  I couldn't believe how cheap I got everything else for.  The Madden Collectors Edition is complete minus the outer box.  The NES game didn't have the manual, but the GPA game did.

Then there's this big ass lot of games I scored off Craigslist, which is probably my biggest single score, quantity wise ever:

82 PS2, Gamecube and PS1 games - $45

Just look at all those bastards.  There was a total of 74 PS2 games, 5 PS1 games, and 3 Gamecube games and out of all of those only 15 were doubles.  The highlight of all of these was a boxed copy of Mario Party 4 and a complete copy of Godzilla Unleashed.  Those two alone almost worth what I paid for the whole lot.  Almost all of them had the cases, but only about half of them had the manuals.  A bunch of the discs were in pretty rough condition, but there were only a handful that I might not be able to save.  On top of everything else, this helped me reach two of my goals for this year:  300 PS2 games and 75 Gamecube games.  It also put me over the 2400 game mark.

Of course, since I got all of those new games I had to have a new place to put them, so I built this:

It was a good week.

So, I am very new to the RF Gen community, so it has taken me a while to posting in here. At the urging of Crabmaster who runs a great local store called Game Quest, I am posting a few of my favorites that I have gotten from him in the past few months:
so the genesis, snes and games I got off Crabby on his opening day.

These 4 games have a pretty funny story about the evening I got these off Crabby at the store.

I like my Model 2, although it prefer not to use it laugh

I loves me some solid Konami

and the latest and most amazing addition to my collection:

Also got these from Game Quest! I got a copy of Ducktales 2 that was my 99th NES game, so I went down today to get CIB Darkwing Duck as game #100, but Crabby being the great, yet humorous guy that he is, decided to make sure I got a CIB copy of Fester's Quest as my #100. Oh well, I welcome it with open arms, as it was a game I had gotten for christmas in 1989. Darkwing made a great #101

Hey now,

Not too much to brag about lately, but I'll give it a go none the less:

- Skylanders Giants Legendary 3-pack: picked this up at the haunted Toys R Us. I passed on buying this the first time 'round 'cuz I thought the figures were ugly.

- CIB Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII, $4.99: Good lord, how many FF VII spinoffs did Square Enix put out, anyway?!

- Sealed Super Smash Bros. Brawl, $5.99: Actually, I'm not sure if this is factory sealed or a reseal. While the wrapping is Y-folded at the top and bottom, it doesn't have the label-seal thing that covers the the top of the case.

- CIB Wario Ware Smooth Moves, $5.99

- Sonic Heroes for PC, $0.99: my last three PC game pickups have been Sonic games. This is what happens when you befriend a rabid Sonic fanboy through a game collecting website, people: his fandom eventually rubs off on you. It's only a matter of time before I start writing Sonic fanfiction and posting original-do-not-steal recolors fan-character doodles on DeviantArt.

I swear I'm gonna get you back for this outrage, Raze. Just you wait...
