Hit a couple of thrift stores and the local retro game store on Saturday.  Didn't get a huge haul, but did add to the growing collection:

These came from Goodwill, and this is the first time I've seen any original Gameboy games there.  Actually, in general, they've been lacking in stocking any game carts for anything lately, so finding these was pretty cool.

Bo Jackson: Two Games In One, Alleyway, Tennis, And Baseball For Nintendo Gameboy  $4.00 Each

These came from The Gaming Grounds, the only retro game store for quite a ways around here.  Top Gear is one of my favorite racing games ever, and I hadn't been able to find for less than $15 or so online, and nowhere in the wild until now.  The Smackdown! 2 is a replacement and more, as I have just the disc, but for the life of me cannot get it to work, so having a working CIB copy to replace it is pretty nice.

Top Gear For Super Nintendo  $7.95    Smackdown! 2: Know Your Role For Playstation 1  $12.95

Finally, while this game isn't anything special, I picked it up at Hasting's, who had stopped accepting any games from before the PS2/Gamecube/XBox era about 7 years ago or so.  So, it's not really the game but the place I found it that makes this a weird pickup, at least to me.

Grand Slam For Playstation 1  $4.99

Great Series, wish it had less Pat the NES Punk, I just don't like what he has to say all that much. Also, IMO, He has a very punchable face.

But back on topic, I think I am going to pick up the dvd too, it talks about awesome video game history.

I used to think the same way about the guy but he's not that bad.   He has a pretty good podcast and when he drops his NES Punk persona he's actually pretty normal.

Holdin' it down for 32x.

$10 for Toughman
$12 for Tempo
$19 for Space Harrier

Pretty decent deals for each.

Indeed the 32X is our master. We must bow down to it and love all it's processing power. But really nice deals on the games. I really want to get Tempo into my collection.

My first games score post!

First up is a bundle that came in today from Amazon Warehouse Deals.  I paid about $50 total for everything.  Time Crisis 3 set includes two of the PS2 Guncon 2's.  DK64 is CIB (although the memory expansion pack wasn't included).  The other two are True Crime: Streets of LA and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates.

Thought I'd throw this in as well.  I got this a couple of days ago from a fellow trader on VGFive.

Conker's Bad Fur Day is a great addition to any collection. Actually played a good chunk of it yesterday. Many good laughs. Wish their was somehow a sequel to the game.
