Max Payne 3 - PS3 - CIB - $13
Remember Me - PS3 - CIB - $31.50
Oddworld Stranger's Wrath - Xbox - CIB - $8
Oddworld Munch's Oddysee - Xbox - CIB - $3

Polaris Snocross - N64 - CIB - $25

and some non-gaming pickups, i grabbed a bunch of CDs today. 3 new, the rest used, total paid about $56.

 Its Blind Guardian! Yes!

The Wheel of Time led me to them Wink i haven't listened to much else by them, hopefully i like more than just that song on this album.

Blind Guardian is one of my favourite bands. If you like what you hear check out the Nightfall in Middle-Earth album.

We're going to get along nicely when you visit. I'll be sure to have some Imaginations from the Otherside cranked when I pick you up at the airport Wink

Blind Guardian is cool, though I personally prefer the earlier stuff (I love pretty much everything up to Nightfall).

I'd love to see them live. From what I understand they tend to play a nice selection that covers their whole career pretty evenly.

Anyway, I got this nice lot off of Racketboy for $250:

These are the first games I've bought in several months, and it seemed like a really solid deal, I doubt I'll find these games for cheaper than that.

I used to have Chrono Trigger, Contra III, and Final Fantasy III, but a couple of years back I sold off a chunk of my collection to try and get a car (which didn't end up working out, they basically took my money and ran. I did end up getting a car later though.) and since have been trying to rebuild some of it. I'm glad to have these games back, and glad to strike off a couple of other high profile wants while I was at it.

Now I just gotta hunt down a Super Mario RPG...

I went to the flea market for the first time in months and picked up the following stuff:

The Last of Us is complete and only cost me $10.

Virtual Pool 64 and Tigger's Honey Hunt were only $1.

Hey now,

Geez, I didn't know my Big Bang Theory screener would evoke so much controversy. Seems like people either absolutely love the show, or absolutely hate it. Of course, ever the contrarian, i think it's just okay. Call me a rebel...

(Blah blah blah, stuff no one cares about)

SKYLANDERS!  He also gave me the power portal so I'm all set to play!  The figures are loose so I have to make names for them myself.  From left to right:

Bucky Dragonson, Theresa Legolas, Fishy McHarpoon, Bobby Tree Hands, Golden Horns McGee, and Gizmo Lick Magnums.

Oh yeah, that's the stuff!

BTW Some of my own Skylanders are named after several notable RF Gentlemen. I'm planning to write a blog about it one of these days. I'll leave you to wonder which RF Gentlemen I named a few of the female Skylanders after...

Speaking of Skylanders: I hit the local Tar-Jay with my $5-off coupon the other day, and grabbed the Swap Force Fiery Forge Battle Pack, as you can see below.

Also grabbed:

- Game Boy Advance with Super Mario Advance, Super Mario World, Ice Age, Chessmaster (with manual), and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (with manual) for $18.99: There always seems to be a Harry Potter game included in every GBA bundle I buy from Goodwill nowadays.

- Atari paddle controllers, $2.99: I needed a replacement for my old set.

- Seven Game Informer back issues: another instance of my best friend looking out for me on while out garage sale'ing. I paid him with a Starbucks lime refresher drink. Talk about a cheap date...

- Sonic Lost World (Deadly Six Bonus Edition): this purchase was the result of the wager I lost with Razor Knuckles over the A's-Tigers divisional series, where the loser bought a copy of Sonic Lost World for the winner. So I figured I'd buy one for myself while I ordered one for him. To add insult to injury, he got his copy on the 30th of October, while I just got mine in this morning. I also had to pay state sales tax on my order, while his was tax free. And that's pretty much the extent of my first-world problems with the deal.

UPDATE: Damn, Raze, you beat me to it by mere minutes. I'd just pressed the Preview button on this post, and saw all your swag. And it looks like you couldn't wait to get the 3DS release, huh? Let me know how that one goes, willya? Thankies.

BTW yeah, the Pop! series of figures are really freaky lookin'. I almost got one of Optimus Prime, but I just didn't dig the look.

And was that copy of Sol Feace included with the Sega CD? I know it was with mine.

And finally: looks like a lotta guys are jumping onto the Brutal Legend bandwagon. I've considered it, but I'm still not committed. I know where I can get it complete second-hand for about six bucks. Would that be considered a reasonable price for it?

Love Donkey Konga.  Just need a few bongos.  Ikaryga is for sale/trade.

Looks like you'll have to incorporate your own misspelling into the title of the next CollectorCast...

...all while Duke and Crabby goof on you for it.

BTW every time I read or hear the word "Ikaruga," my mind conjures up that "ooga-chucka" song, only the "ooga-chucka" is replaced with "ikaruga."

I only wish I was kidding...

I've been relying on auto correct WAY too much lately.  LOTS of typos all over the place.
