With the site acting a little rough, it's been a while since I posted some scores. Here are a few things that I have picked up over a the last few weeks.

These came in from a member of on Racketboy:

Even though I am not big on boxes, I really like this game and the price was right.

Lastly, my friends over at the local GameXchange gave me a wonderful deal on this box and styro:

Since it is just a Challenge Set, I am sure it ranks really low on the Bil-o-meter, but it makes me happy.

Picked this stuff up today from Goodwill got it all for about 5 bucks or less a game.

Gex is my first PS1 Longbox game, so that was an exciting find for me.

The Game Boy game up top is Hyper Lode Runner Japanese Version, but it plays on my Gameboy Advance, and it is in English, so not sure what is Japanese about it, other than the label.

To say I've been busy is quite an understatement. Fortunately, I think I'm a smart buyer when it comes to this stuff, so hopefully I didn't overpay on anything.

*Excitebike CIB $12 from Nintendo Age
*Kid Icarus ~$28 box/manual only (I had the cart)
*Breath of Fire ~$20 box only (had the other stuff)

*Killer Instinct ~$15 box only...see above
*Batman $8 box only
*Ice Climber manual $8
*Mutant League Football manual $8

*Crysis 2 $4
*Beyond: Two Souls $34
*Halo Anniversary Edition $12
*Pokémon Y $retail nono
*Resistance Fall of Man $2
*Sniper Elite $8 (it's the Silver Star edition or something. This was new

And I finally got my hands on a PSP, and picked up the above games for it. If anyone can suggest some more I'm all ears. Sorry for the long post, just been busy. And sorry for the crappy pictures, my wife lost the charger for DLR camera so 40 year old iphone to the rescue!

Yeah, I want to know how you scored a brand new game at nearly half price too.

Great haul all around!

Last weekend Gamestop had a buy two get one free sale on all pre-owned. So I got that PSP, Beyond and another game I sold to my brother. I just got lucky they had it used already. I also stacked a 20% off coupon from my birthday. The 20% off made it come to $33 and change. Take out the $20 I made back on the other game and I got Beyond and the PSP for $80.

Hey now,

Since everyone else if post I figured I would.  I got every gamers favorite sale, Buy one get one free.

See what happens when you incur the wrath of Lord Eon with your blasphemy? Now you face twice the financial and emotional strain. And, with the help of the weird psychic/empathic link all twins seem to possess, they'll inevitably drive you to the edge of insanity, then throw you right off the cliff into the endless abyss of madness.

But, enough happy thoughts. Time to throw a few recent scores at you lot.

- CIB Magical Starsign, $3.99
- Prima Sonic and the Secret Rings guide, $3.99
- Muppets on the Go Sega Pico cartridge, $0.99
- Tomy Game Buddy TrackAttack thingy
- Sealed Japanese light blue Street Fighter II Imagination Sound Game, $2.59: A video game without the visual element? Well, unless you count "theater of the mind," that is. In any case, I love it when I discover oddball stuff like this, especially a packaged foreign release.

Then there's the trio of non-vidya pickups:

- Speak & Read, $2.99
- TI-83 Plus graph calc, $9.99
- BA-35 Solar business calc, $2.49

I keep this up, and I'm gonna hafta start a spinoff site called TI Generation.

That reminds me: apparently, the previous owner of the TI-83+ left a message for a certain someone:

You're right of course. I should stop doing that. Ogling that Speak & Read is like staring into the sun.

And exactly what mathemagical work were you doing on that poor BA-35?

And to stay somewhat on topic, 'cause we never stray off topic here, I gots these:

The family that gave me the Vtech consoles and games the other day, found these gave them to me too.

I sure hope they keep going through the attic, this is working out great!

Kim Possible (sealed) is from a coworker.

Disgaea 2 is from VGFive.

Octomania is from our own dsheinem

Atelier Iris I got off ebay. I was surprised to win it after dropping in that very low initial bid. That never happens to me.

Everything in this picture came from SingleBanana via trade. I didn't ask for anything specific, just showed him my wants list. He could have grabbed any old bullshit but he was sure to include a beautiful black label copy of Vagrant Story, because he knows I love my Sony RPGs. That was a big one to cross off the list. I'm happy to have gotten it in a trade with such a classy dude.

I got my copy this week, too. One of these days I finally need to get around to downloading it from the PSN Store.

Now, if I could just get my copy of Nightmare Busters...
