Stopped by a thrift shop we've never stopped in. The place is enormous! They have an expensive section, in which they've put most of the consoles and video games, but they negotiate on things and prices tend to be around eBay prices. I talked to them about some of the older PC titles they had, and they mentioned they had computer software near the TVs. Well, I found this beauty (and some SSI titles, which I'll never leave behind) in the TV section, and talked them down to $15 for it.

Now I finally have a monitor for my C64! Anyone have a copy of Zork?

Today was a landmark day of finds for me. I hit a couple of milestones I've been eyeing for a long time, and it happened in pretty awesome fashion. I went to about a half-dozen different stores, and picked up a few odds and ends throughout the day:

Now no one can tell me there's no video game adaptation of The Fifth Element. More than anything, though, I've been focusing on my NES collection. I crossed off another handful of games, most of which are SUPER uninteresting!

They can't all be winners, I guess. However, these games put me over 1,500 games in my collection! Awesome. However, after double checking I was up to an almost painful 599 NES games. I just needed one more! So, I decided to check one more store that I hadn't been to in a while...

Wow, great finds! I am still missing Tournament Fighters myself. Hope it didn't hurt your wallet too much.

@Shadow: Nice grab on the Commodore monitor. I am still hoping to stumble across one at some point. Those things do a fantastic job at displaying composite video.

Hey everyone went back out to the antique store because I realized that my copy of Indy 500 that I bought didn't have the game in it!! The guy sold them separately what a jerk good thing it wasn't expensive.  Also I found a 1980 Arby's Pac-Man Collector's Series Glass...been looking for this for a long time...originally prices $25.00 got it for $8.00.

Bought some good finds over the weekend! With some Gamers credit I only had to pay about $10 out of pocket, I can handle that!

It's pretty minty! I asked an employee why is was so cheap and he just shrugged and said that's Gamers for you. Love it!

The gauntlet is thrown, The challenge made. Think you can keep up?

Some would say it's sheer madness.

To them I reply, "MADNESS?"

"THIS... IS... SKYLAAAAANDS!!!"

That's right, I've embraced the dark side in a big way for Skylanders Swap Force launch day! 'Course, I embrace the dark side every time I buy from G*meSt*p, but that's neither here nor there. I even signed up for the Skylanders Adventure Club! Got me a membership card and everything, see!

Now, that's street cred.

And there's more to come. Oh, there's SO... MUCH... MORE. Just you wait, you'll see. And when you do, I'll make you sorry you were ever born.

On a more serious note: I'd have preferred the Wii U release, but it was sold out before I could preorder it.

I see your gauntlet and raise you another, 'norch:

Still need to pick up the other Target exclusive 2-pack (Nitro + Shake), 2 exclusive TRU (Legendary Grim Creeper, Legendary Free Ranger), and 2 exclusive WalMart (Enchanted Hoot Loop + Magic Triple Pack) plus the normal releases. FYI, I was told by my local GameStop that they only received 2 LightCore Grim Creeper in their shipment, so I picked him up before learning about the Legendary.
