Great flea market haul this morning! 25 bucks for the arcade stick, works great. All else was mere dollars/quarters.

I stopped in to the local GameXchange today, and grabbed a couple items I will post about later. I really wanted to share what they had sitting behind the counter, though:

What have we done???

Oh dear God!

Did you print that out and slap that sticker on the box?  nono Or is that for real?

Nope, they did this on their own. Some of the guys at the shop listen to the show, and sometimes play it in the store. They're a fun group, as you can tell.

Very cool.

At least it's complete... which is more than I can say for my copy...

Patience, Sir.  The mailman didn't see it in the mailbox until yesterday.  Oops, spoiled it.

Haven't been to the nearby pawn shops in at least a month, here's today's finds:

Gotcha Force, Viewtiful Joe: Red Hot Rumble, the bonus disc from 1080 Avalanche, and a very scrached Legend of Mana: $15
Sonic Adventure, Crazy Taxi, Wetrix+, and some other Dreamcast games: $1 each

My second Gotcha Force find of the year! I don't know how the price on it skyrocketed so fast, but it sure is nice that it did.

Justgot back from the Portland Retro Gaming Expo, and it was faaaaaantastic!  Tons of classic arcades/pinball machines on free play,  DJs paying 8-bit techno remixes, great art vendors, and very cool game vendors too.

I ran into Nupoile while I was there,  and lemmie tell ya he is every bit as beautiful as his avatar.  Damn I forgot to bring Zagnorch's pink football again...

I bumped into Jay from the Game Chasers and 8-bit Eric.  Im the stud in the middle.   I love these guys,  if you haven't seen their shows give em a watch.

And also,   32x rebirth!  The first 32x game I've picked up in quite some time and I just couldn't say no to the price.   I think I'm under 10 now

@RetroRage: That is really awesome that you got a chance to meet some other RFGenners and the Game Chasers guys are pretty funny. Wish I could have been there.

Yeah I wish I could have talked to them a bit longer.   I only met them in passing.  Still,  it was fun seeing everybody hanging out

And you should come out next year Duke!  It's not too far of a drive from Indiana.

Here's a SMALL sampling of what I've picked up over the past month or two...the sad part is is really is only like 25% of everything...I might have a problem...

Got the boxes for the two NES games. I had the games and manuals already.

I have the bongos in the box and everything for Donkey Konga, just didn't feel like dragging those out.

Bought the Kinect from a co-worker. Definitely more for the wife.

Yesterday was a great day for NES finds. Crossed 11 more games, including a few pretty tough ones:

I'm 12 games shy of 600 for NES and 1500 total!

That's a nice find, Invader! Put Super Pitfall in a dark place where it can never escape.

Been a little quite lately.  I'm going into money saving mode for the holidays and the new family member but I got a few things.

Picked up a gem from my childhood at Savers.  I got this exact collection when I was a kid.  It's not particularly rare or valuable but I love it.

A bunch of you guys have told me that Skylanders is better than Disney Infinity.  I don't begrudge anyone their own opinion but I am getting on the Disney Infinity train.  I am a former Disney employee and I am still a big Disney fan.  I picked up Jack Skellington because I love Disney and he was a limited time figure.  He will sit on a shelf until my unborn kid is old enough to enjoy him with me.
