Made a trade with Gamernick, and picked up these goodies.

He helped me get some of this cart only sega sports games i got into boxes. I also picked up another Sega Sports game, John Madden Championship Edition Cart

Added another game to my NES Konami collection, and was able to get Guerrilla Wars in the box.

Guerrilla Wars was one of those go to rental games me and my brother always rented when everything that was new was checked out.

The other stuff I got is awesome as well, but those are the highlights.

@Duke, what kind of NES controllers are those? I've never ones like them.

Just some generic aftermarket controllers. No manufacturer markings.

Your coworker has good taste in games. You never fail to impress with your hauls. Great stuff! Those boxes look snazzy and I'm a bit jealous of whoever nabbed that Secret of Mana box.

Thanks, this month is quickly bleeding my dry. It's like everything just suddenly went up for sale.  Also all the boxes are box/manual only no games. So still good but not AS good. Smiley Says he has more, so we'll see what turns up. Smiley

saw a yard sale on the way to the grocery store and got a sweet SNES cart lot:

Bonkers
Donkey Kong Country
Frogger
Jeopardy
Mario Paint
Mario's Early Years Fun With Numbers
NBA Jam
Out of This World
Super Castlevania IV
Super Empire Strikes Back
Super Mario World
Super X-Men Acrade's Revenge
Turtles in Time

= $10

Wow, would have paid 10$ for some of these games alone... these package would have made a nice summerholidays in the 90s

Well I went to Iowa for a weeks vacation and only found one stinkin' NES game.  Super spike V'ball at a yardsale for a quarter.  When I got back though I found out one of my local Goodwills has done away with pricing things.  Everything in the store is $2.  Doesn't matter what it is, unless its normally less than 2, like books are 4 for $2.  Not much game related was there but I found a PSOne controller, for $2 of course. This will make game hunting more interesting there

Dude, that's awesome(I'm guessing the catch is they'll ship all the expensive things to another store though)

All my recent finds

The Sims was $2.39, and so was the Star Trek(it's unfortunately missing the VHS tape and pin). The PS1 games were $3 each and are CIB, the Plug n Play was $2(these Namco arcade ones are starting to get pricey for some reason)

I have no idea about the Freakshow game, I paid $2 for it CIB in a Pawnshop(he probably thought it was music because it was sitting next to a music CD that was in similar packaging). The barcode scanner on my phone pulled up nata and I haven't gotten around to further research.

I finaly did a little research(I was pretty sure The Residents were a band) it's based of their CD of the same name, I'm always up for weird old games.

Thanks, It would've been cooler with all the stuff in it :b

Decent pickup on Freak Show:
http://www.amazon.com/The...Show-CD-Rom/dp/1559406461

http://ultimateconsoledat...idents_freak_show_DOS.htm
It's an interactive CD-ROM for the band with puzzles to unlock content.

It does seem kind of rare, the only price better than that I found was $10(and it was the only complete copy on Ebay, so it may me just priced absurdity good by someone who doesn't know what it is). It looks like it might cool, hopefuly it will run on DOSbox.

Just got back today from 5 days in Anaheim for the APCO Conference. Sure, they couldn't schedule it during hockey season so I could break away for a Ducks game!  It was a lot of fun, but I'm glad to be back in the house that doesn't cost me $100s a day to sleep in.

In reverse order, the minimal pick-ups since last checking in:

The Salt Lake City Airport has an EA Sports store, so I grabbed a sweet shirt.  They didn't have an NHL version, dammit.

I got back to find that a trade from GamerNick arrived - Dudes With Attitude CIB and my second copy of the Jeff Rovin classic.  I plan to give my more worn copy to a buddy.
I picked up Midway Arcade Treasures 1 from a thrift store last weekend, along with a couple of rare Gnarly Tree Rex Skylanders from Fred Meyer.  One to keep and one for a needing individual.  They still have some Ninjini figures as well, if anyone needs either of the two.

Simple eBay purchases from a single seller.  Who still needs a Silent Service?

And my non-gaming finds:

An order from Maddox.  I found his newest book at Hastings last week, which sparked a look through The Best Page in the Universe store.  http://maddox.xmission.com/

I already had his first book, and I've worn this shirt for years.  Manly!
