New (gently used) laptop from a coworker today. 17" Dell Precision M4600. Dual quad-core i7 @ 2.4 GHz, 500 GB SSD, 500 GB hybrid data drive, 16 GB RAM, dual graphics cards (Intel HD 3000, NVIDIA Quatro 1000M). It's a monster of a laptop.

He's been trying to unload it for a while so I got the "I'm pissed nobody has bought this yet" price of $500. Best deal I've gotten in a while.

Well I went to Iowa for a weeks vacation and only found one stinkin' NES game.  Super spike V'ball at a yardsale for a quarter.  When I got back though I found out one of my local Goodwills has done away with pricing things.  Everything in the store is $2.  Doesn't matter what it is, unless its normally less than 2, like books are 4 for $2.  Not much game related was there but I found a PSOne controller, for $2 of course. This will make game hunting more interesting there

Single nanner hooked me up with a couple of crispy NES boxes. Never seen a Battleship box in person...until today.  Thanks, Nanner!

I CAN HAZ YOUR GOODWILL?
Base price here is $5.99 for anything game-related, and $10+ if they recognize it. Usually, I get a comment about "Oops, that slipped through" when I DO find something silly.

I also need battleship as well...and I am getting a Taboo Box I believe from Singlebanana as well Smiley along with a couple of others!!  But that Battleship box is very nice and so is the Taboo!!!  Sadly I will have the grab the manual and cart online after I get the box from Bananarama!  BUT yesterday I got two packages in the mail one from eBay and one from a trade on NA.

MULE was from eBay and I was hesitant on buying it the BIN for $40.00 so I put a bid on it as it was the other option which started at $19.99 so I put a max bid of $25.00 and well no one else bid on it so I won it!! The next one on eBay was in far worse condition and about $20.00 more than the $40.00 he wanted the BIN for.  The Blaster Master and Cobra Triangle were from Willis on NA. The Blaster Master isn't great but I am not complaining and the Cobra Triangle box is mint.  Both of these are upgrades for my cart and cart/manuals in my collection.

Hey now,

Hit my fave used-media store at just the right time today-- when they were restocking the video game section-- and picked up the following:

PS2 games (All CIB unless noted otherwise)

- Soldier of Fortune Gold Edition $1.95
- Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly (Greatest Hits) $0.95
- Area-51 $0.95
- Grandia III (no manual) $1.95
- Mana Khemia: Alchemists ofAl-Revis $1.95
- Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II $0.50
- Turok: Evolution $1.95

Also got a CIB Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword with soundtrack CD for $9.95.

Elsewhere, I picked up:

- CIB Gauntlet: Dark Legacy for PS2, $0.99
- Super Mario Land 2 Game boy cart, $0.99
- CIB Official XBox Magazine demo discs #74 and 76, $0.99 each

In the non-vidya department, I picked up three packaged Target-closeout Nerf Vortex 10-round clips and disc sets for $1.99 each. Usually, these run about $12-$15 a pop. And there's even more of them at the place I got these. With deals like this, I might not downsize my Nerf collection as drastically as I'd originally planned...

Dropped by GameXchange, and someone had just dropped off a bunch of 7800 titles. I managed to find a few I didn't have and Viewpoint was cheap. I parted with my copy of Smurfs for a friend before, so I was glad to add it back.

In the mail I got Dishonored from the recent GameFly sale, and Bil was kind enough to send a couple of NES controllers my way. Thanks Bil!

Well it was a good day for games.  Grin

(on the right) A co-worker was traveling and offered to visit some GameStop stores in the area for some games that rarely show up around here. He grabbed Data East collection for the Wii, Ivy the Kiwi?, Little Red Riding Hood Zombie BBQ, Nanostray 2. About $24 total.

(on the left)Today hit up one of the local pawn shops, they've started pricing stuff on the internet so it can be hard to pull a deal but Noticed few 3DS games. Project X-Zone and Tales of the Abyss for $12.50 each! (On a side note, they told me not long ago they had a "Snowman nintendo game" that was worth $100. Unfortunately for me, it sold.  Undecided the hunt continues..)

Same co-worker dug out some items from his basement... a bit of stuff I needed, so currently working a deal.

And this Gem, which is up for sale. Feel free to PM if interested.
(Pending)

Has some small condition issues, I can send additional photos.

Your coworker has good taste in games. You never fail to impress with your hauls. Great stuff! Those boxes look snazzy and I'm a bit jealous of whoever nabbed that Secret of Mana box.

@Duke, what kind of NES controllers are those? I've never ones like them.
