What's the haps!

Well, it's official: I've finally acquired a somewhat modern game console!

That's right: thanks to a trade/buy with the esteemed Jonathan X.F. Nintendo, Sr., I'm the proud owner of a functioning XBox 360 with 60 Gig drive and all the hookups. He even threw in a headset so I can tell the random tween in western Arkansas I'm playing against how hard I did his mom last night after he calls me "hella queer." Thank you for the deal, kind sir-- you're a class act.

But wait, there's more!

- CIB Turn and Burn: No-Fly Zone for SNES, $0.99

- Top Gun, Bases Loaded II, and Lee Trevino Fighting Golf NES carts, $2.00 for the set

- Clear purple Game Boy Color with magnifier/light accessory, and A Bug's Life & Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX Carts, $3.99

- Tiger handheld Madden 95 and Electronic Pinball games, $2.99

- Total Gamer GTA Vice City Complete Mapped Guide magazine, $0.29

- GMR magazine issue #8, $0.29

- Secret Codes 2005 Vol. 2, $1.99

- Skylanders Giants keychain, $0.50

And of course, there are the usual non-vidya suspects:

- TI-86 calculator, $3.99

- Nerf N-Strike Elite Strongarm blaster, $1.99: a solid improvement over the Maverick.

- Two Nerf Secret Shot II dart pistols, $0.99 each: ah, the early days of Nerf guns, when they looked goofy as all get out.

All righty, back over to you.

Today's flea market finds:

Naki Finger Dance Revolution: $10
Pokemon LeafGreen Version: $10
Kirby Super Star Ultra: $5
BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II: $5

The Naki pad is surprisingly fun to use, and there's next to nothing about it on the internet. It's not even in our database! It was a little more than I like to pay for niche hardware, but it's just so neat.

Not really a small score but I picked up some new stuff today:

I have been picking up a TON of stuff, I'm just never in the same place with them and my camera at once. I'll get there.

Dude...how did bxr somehow pick up Genesis games I don't own? Kinda hard these days to find ones I don't own, and I don't have any of those (except a terrible copy of Gaiares).

Also, that Finger pad is awesome. Never knew that was an accessory for PSX.

Buffalo has a much better flea market than the one where I live.

Picked up 3 long box PSX games,  all for trade.  2 copies of wipeout (one with the sleeve) and descent, a platoon cart to finish my copy, and a full box of TMNT cards for crabby.

Speaking of Lucky Bastards........ I got a couple boxes in the mail from singlebanana this morning. Most of it is stock for my store, and its pretty quality stuff for the most part Smiley He has also been holding onto these two NES games I needed for quite a while now. Its the first time I've got new NES games for myself in quite a while now so I'm pretty thrilled about them. Thanks so much!!!!

Crabby,
My wife has mentioned that she'd be willing to inventory the game room, provided that any variants get put to the side for me to investigate later. Once I get a few of the consoles inventoried, I'll go through and start packing up some of the flat-rate boxes I have to send your way. Just send me a PM for what you have a demand for/need, and we'll work things out later. Also, I have a couple NES games I can throw your way to help pad as well. Wink

Sounds great! I'll be keeping a very close eye on what sells especially in the first couple months. I'll send you a PM when I've got a better idea.
