I have that same glass in my gameroom. Picked it up at a flea market about a year ago for $2. If I run across another, I'll grab it for you Tynstar.

Found these at Target today.  If I buy them for $1 each, I have Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures reserved now.  Not interested at all in the game, but $1 for a little Pac-Man figure why not.

If there's not a two-headed one named 2 Pac I'm going to be extremely disappointed.

A friend of mine is from Saudi Arabia. He is going to school here in the USA but went back this last summer. Being such an awesome guy he offered to get me some games from Saudi, it was probably the hours and hours I spent grilling him on the intricacies of variants in his country.  He is/was a pretty big gamer in the WoW world. Some of his videos of him playing WoW have tens of thousands of views. His team, or clan, or club, or whatever they call themselves, were ranked in the small single digits on the European servers. You might be able to tell I know almost nothing of World of Warcraft, I just like to brag about my friend.

Anyways, I quizzed him (a lot) about what region the console games in Saudi were. He said the games were either from Japan or Europe, he seemed to think it was a fairly even split. Oh, he is not a collector by any means, spends lots of time gaming but if it isn't WoW or FIFA he only has regular gamer knowledge. He sent me these four PS2 games, which I think is awesome. They were all bought in Saudi Arabia. All four are from European regions but each one is a little different.

There is a Shadowy figure on RFG that likes to look at the backs of European PS2 games. This is for him.

The Getaway is actually for the Middle Eastern region.

The spines, just for fun. I know it's no big deal if you live in that other continent but for all the US peeps.

Oh yeah, piracy of software is legal in Saudi Arabia. Sounds like nearly everyone just copies and downloads everything over there.

Neat pick ups. And it's his "guild." Says the former WoW addict.

Sweet on the ACTUAL Middle Eastern variant. I've seen a few Israel variants, but not sure of yours. First time I've seen that.

I'm guessing that's what we'd call the region. The little circle above the British flag seems to contain tiny flags from four or five Middle Eastern countries. Like you it's the first time I've seen it but I also don't research such things so I'd default you what you said Shadow.

Yeah, it's not a flag. I believe it's meant to represent the Pan-Arab colors, but not sure without further research. FWIW, the "flags" are meant to denote supported language, not supported countries.

I agree, except I think it is a picture of tiny little flags.

Hey now--

I see your gauntlet and raise you another, 'norch:

Still need to pick up the other Target exclusive 2-pack (Nitro + Shake), 2 exclusive TRU (Legendary Grim Creeper, Legendary Free Ranger), and 2 exclusive WalMart (Enchanted Hoot Loop + Magic Triple Pack) plus the normal releases. FYI, I was told by my local GameStop that they only received 2 LightCore Grim Creeper in their shipment, so I picked him up before learning about the Legendary.

DAAAAAMN, CRACKA!

Looks like I'm gonna hafta sell some more calculators to keep up!

Until then, I'll hafta settle for...

- Wal-Mart exclusive Enchanted Hoot Loop: I don't like to visit Wally World all that much. It's not due to its business practices, it's the depressing atmosphere.  Sad Just the biggest bunch of sad sacks you'll ever see, the workers and shoppers alike, ambling through the halls all zombie-like. But hey, sometimes you gotta make a few sacrifices, especially when you've got the collecting bug. I managed to get outta there alive with da 'Hoot, the latest ish of GameCenter magazine... and a Prozac prescription refill.

- Target-exclusive Nitro Magna-Charge & Free Ranger 2-pack: Aw man, why couldn't they have released Nitro Magna Charge by himself?! I was gonna get Free Ranger and Rattle Shake with the 3DS starter set! What a big steamin' pile.  So I literally flipped a coin to decide which 2-pack I would get. At least Tar-Jay has an upbeat atmosphere...

BTW a rep from Nintendo was promoting the 2DS at the 3DS/Wii U section of the local Target where I picked this up. We got into a conversation about Swap Force, the gold- and platinum-level prizes at Club Nintendo, and the staggering number of titles coming out in the coming months. She asked me if I knew about the 2DS, and I told her about a certain site that "predicted" its release two years before it came out. I also told her about the great deals I get buying almost-new Target-salvage Nintendo games from the local Goodwills during the holiday season, which she said put her employee discount to shame. Err, not to brag or anything.  Grin

Ummm... moving on:

- TRU-exclusive Legendary Lightcore and regular Lightcore Grim Creepers: Grim Creeper is an undead-element Skylander, and I bought both of these at a Toys-R-Us that's said to be haunted. Coincidence?  Wink

UPDATE: Some more Swap Force swag just got dropped on my doorstep. I'll show it to ya some other time, though.

Time for some other notable vidya scores:

- CIB Mario Party 4, $7.79: A lot of the local Goodwills have been up-pricing their games lately, and this was no exception. I tried to get them to mark it down to the $5.99 level of the other CIB games, to no avail. At least it's in excellent condition. Even the EB Game World price tag on it is nearly flawless, with the original price and what I'm guessing is the SKU number is written in pen.

Fortunately, there are still some reasonable-to-great Goodwill deals to be found:

- Ristar, Arcade Classics: Centipede/Pong/Missile Command and Legend of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse Game Gear carts, $1.99 each: I like how the Illusion cart label depicts Mickey with a sorta evil-looking expression.  evilhappy

- Red GBA SP with carry case and five GB & GBA carts: Earthworm Jim, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Tetris, Sonic Advance, and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, $8.99

Other thrift pickups:

- CIB Duke Nukem: Time to Kill (Greatest Hits) for PS1, $2.49
- Prima STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl guide, Piggyback Dragon Age II guide, and versus Neverwinter Nights World Builder guide, $5 for all

- Complete Super Mario Checker & Tic-Tac-Toe set, $3.49
- Burger King Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong kid meal toys, $0.79 each

All right, that's pretty much all for now.

But before I go, I'd like to show you... the Uzi of Peace:
