That coin seemed much larger than the one in my Oblivion collector's edition when I first saw your post, Boss. But upon taking it out, it is the same one 1.4 inches isn't that much I guess. I never knew that coin had the same dragon as they chose to use in the Skyrim logo.

I don't feel weird about anything I do anymore at all. When I went to pick this up the girl offered me pre-orders for such predictable games like the new Ass Creed and Far Cry. When I walked up I said, "I like weird games," and she said she would be getting Akiba's Trip when it comes out on PS4. I then found out she likes Tales and Persona, just like me!

Psycho's got a girlfriend! Psycho's got a girlfriend!  rofl rofl rofl

I had to break up with her because she thought Blazblue is an RPG.

IT'S NOT?!

Ummm... you wouldn't happen to have her number still, would ya? I mighta just found my dream gal.

Moving on:

Flea market for a buck.  This is as real as it gets.

I can imagine myself trying out all sorts of mayday scenarios with that bad boy. And if you have to ask why, then I guess you don't know me too well.

ANYway, I was a bit bummed when I peeled the Goodwill price sticker off of that sweet Fire Emblem Awakening score and discovered a glaring imperfection:

Yep, it had...

...a fire break.

And now, I present a non-vidya pickup to calm a certain concerned RF Gentleman who PMed me a few weeks ago asking me why I hadn't been showing off any small scores lately.

This one's for you, Nupoile:

Found 'em all in one place. Twenty smackers for the bunch.

While I still havent finished my blog about my trip down the Oregon coast (stop with threatening letters Nupoile) I still managed to grab some more stuff that will eventually lead to my wife handing over divorce papers.

But until then, I'm 8 games away from completing my 32x set.  Thank you Bickman for the deals on RBI and After Burner!

At least I got SOMETHING decent at a garage sale before the season ended.

GBA games at $2 a piece.  I assume every pokemon game I see is fake now.

Last weekend a coworker and I headed down to Vegas for DEFCON 22.  I guess I should have asked this before the convention, but did anyone else attend?  While we were down there, I stopped by multiple game stores and the pickings were slim or the prices were outrageous.  I only ended up purchasing a couple of cheap Saturn sports titles for the cases, an N-Gage game I still needed, and Snoopy's Silly Sports for the NES.  It was an unfortunate search; but we did wander the strip, go to the Pinball Hall of Fame, the Pawn Stars shop, and a very cool retro toys store in our off time.

After we got back to town, and work, I decided to take another trip down to the electronics shop that had been the source of my recent Sega CD boxed lot. This time the findings were just as awesome.

Heavy box full of nothing but manuals, inserts, and posters.

And I'm still sorting, but will try to start a FS/FT post of the extras soon to give everyone a chance to grab something they need.

Boxed NES titles for about $5 each.  Unfortunately, again, most of the manuals for these were laminated for rental use or missing all together.  Many of the boxes have spent their lives in clear protectors so they are minty.

Empty NES boxes for free, but I have the games.

The guy at the shop has a boxed TRS-80 and is still pulling other things out to test, so I look forward to future sweetness.

This week was the week that all my awaited packages came in the mail.  Here's the breakdown

From Mr. Duke.Togo, a complete Taiko Drum Master for PS2 and a Conan cart for NES.

Brothers?  The toploder NES was an ebay find and came with an official NES square controller, RF cable, and power supply.  The AV Famicom is from senseiman and came with the dogbone.

Also from senseiman is a good collection of Famicom carts.  Dragon Quest III and IV are CIB.  Not pictured are SMB, SMB USA, SMB 3, and Hoshi no Kirby, which I got to give as gifts.  The converter is a 72-60 pin converter.  I really like playing my NES games on the AV Famicom.  The converter was another ebay find.

Also from ebay was this mostly complete Uforce.  I have the T-Bar, the Power Bar, the manuals, and the box.  The onl;y thing missing is the styrofoam.  The box is a little beat up, but it matches my equally beat up Power Glove box.  I paid a little more than I wanted to for this, but I'm glad to have it.

All in all, it's a nice chunk of stuff added to my collection.

Awesome lot there Techie.  I'll keep an eye out for that upcoming sale/trade thread.  I'm always looking for NES boxes/manuals.  BTW, I found the other extras in the box...

So I thought I posted these pics a while ago, but I guess not.  So here's the stuff I got.

So I ran by all of the local Toys 'R Us' on the last day of their clearance and picked up all of this.  Nothing was more than a dollar or two.

All those games and the toys are the only things that I'm kind of excited by.  At least now I'll never have to buy those games ever again.

And now for thrift stuff.

So sick of Tom Clancy games.  I swear I see more of those than Madden games.  But for some reason I don't feel as dirty buying Tom Clancy games as I do buying Madden games.  All of the Xbox games were $3 and everything else was $1 or $2 a piece.  Everything was complete

Finally I picked this up at a thrift for $3

The box is pretty torn up, but for all intents and purposes it's brand new.  It was still partially sealed, and it came with the plastic bag around the cart and all of the documentation with it.  Considering I would have gladly paid $10-15 for just the cart, I'm not that upset over the ripped box at all.

I have some more pictures saved on my phone, but I haven't downloaded them to my computer yet.  Maybe I'll stop being lazy tomorrow and get them up too.  We'll see.

Senseiman has really allowed me to indulge my love of the Famicom.  I have an Akumajou Densetsu coming from him based on the recommendation of yourself and others.

Great Manual and Box Lot you grabbed up Techie.

here some random grabs I have picked up over the last couple of weeks.

If anyone collects handhelds the Lee Trevino Golf Handheld is available for sale, I am putting it up on my FS/FT thread so look for it there.

I picked up the Sega Saturn games for 2 a piece.

Always excited when I see nintendo Power magazines at the thrifts, because I do not see them often.

well thats it for now, going to be headed to PRGE in a couple months so I am hoping to pick up some big grabs there.  Its time to start saving money for spending money for the convention. Hit me up if you plan on going for those in the Pac NW, would be great to meet you,

Senseiman is a great guy and the best hook up for Fami gear. Nice score!

Also....wow Techie!
