Greatly appreciated, Razor. From what I've heard, we've only had a few donations this year...I don't have access to the PayPal account to see where we're at though. I'll get an update for the contest out without the donation amounts, but any donations, big or small, definitely go to helping us keep things running.

Everybody in the 32X club is now jealous.

I'm still jealous of the Pitfall 32X. SRSLY. I could've tossed over a loose Web of Fire if I knew that's all it would take.

Made a couple grabs today, A store closure liquidating everything at 50% off, (60% if you bought 6 or more at once), another local store with a couple GameCube titles to get me closer to completing that set, and one buy from a yard sale that was noteworthy, but not gaming related.

The store closure included Viva Pinata, GH: VH, and G-Police for $2 each, DJ Hero for $0.40, and The Sims, The Sims 2: Pets, and Scorpion King for $1.20 each after all were 60% off. After I told the shopkeeper I was collecting GC titles, he pulled Bratz and Wreckless from behind the counter and threw them in for free since they were loose.

The other local store was clearing all XBOX, PS2, and GC stuff for 2.98 each, but my wife and I budget well and keep each other in line when it comes to spending, so I focused on grabbing only GC titles I didn't have yet and grabbed those three sports titles in the pic and Top Gun. There were only about 18 GC titles on the shelf, mostly madden and tiger woods, but for the XB and PS2 titles, probably a few hundred each, but also mostly sports titles as well.

Finally, my non-gaming purchase...for my fellow parents, you should agree it was a great deal at $2.50, since they are 50-60 bucks new in stores.

I have 2, one sealed. It helps when you work for the company. Wink

Random CoCo 2 for Mr. Meek's benefit. The 2nd copy I found someone had thrown in the trash and I quickly scooped it up. I'm not sure on the production number - I remember hearing 2500.

The Wife and I went game shopping this weekend, got lost and ended up here.

Finally made it to Classic's and Oddities in Kelso Washington. The owner always has a booth at the local game show/expo things I go to. We've gotten to the point were we always chat for a little bit and I try to buy stuff from him 'cause he's a good guy and has cool stuff. So we get to his store and he immediately stops talking to some other customer to welcome my wife and I  Cheesy  We look around a bit and he invites me to his backroom/storage, shows us how things are sorted and just leaves us to look around while he goes back to helping the regular customers. Remember how people are always saying it's good to become friends with retro game store owners?

So what did I get from him?

Firstly, I am now part of the problem.

Picked up a bunch of INTV stuff, which is funny because some other INTV stuff came in the mail, which you'll see further on.

Working on the SMS collection too. I've decided to pass on loose SMS carts for a bit to see how many I can get CIB. Picked up the Saturn game just because I hadn't gotten a new one in awhile. Found a card at the front counter advertising the Portland show this October, you're all coming right? I don't normally show off all the books we come home with and would have left these out but they helped frame the picture so well   Wink

More laser discs! Last weekend we had some friends over, one of them had never seen Back to the Future and we realized we didn't own it. They have already been invited back for seeing it on the best format. (The Wife chose Xanadu BTW)

Tynstar sent this to me! Such a good guy he is. Helping me with both the INTV and 2600 collecting.

You might notice that there is some overlap with the INTV games from above, it's mostly because they were just being given to me as a group at the store rather than me picking out only what I had. In fact he tried to get me to take more, haha. But that's why there are even two copies of Lock N Chase from there.

Finally, the 3rd issue of RETRO came in the mail.

MJR made a video a couple years ago where he went to the store I went to. It's the first part to a classic series from him and you should watch the whole thing but the part with the store starts a little after the 6 minute mark:

Oh, and this was another "pre-cleaning" episode of small scores for those of you keeping track at home.

Welcome to the dark side Nupoile!

I love it.  If people were as excited about 32x games back then as we are right now then Sega would still be making games for the system.

This weekend's finds:

Skyward Sword, Golden Sun, a Famicom game, and a Japanese SMB3 manual: $15
Not for Resale Demos of Tomba! 2 and Wild Arms 2, plus a Wii with Sensor Bar: $10
PS Vita 3G/WiFi with 4GB memory card, FIFA 13, and also Rock Band Unplugged for PSP: $88

My first Famicom game! I don't think I have a converter though, so it could be some time before I can play it. Looks like it's not one that ever came out here, so that's neat. Unfortunately the Wii won't start up, on closer examination it was obvious that someone spilled soda in it, so that's too bad. Finally, couldn't resist the price on that Vita at $85. Should be a great The Binding of Isaac Rebirth machine. Smiley
