A coworker gave me his copy of Dark Souls today. How nice! Smiley

Waiting for a Famicom and some Famicom carts to show up from the far east. In the meantime, I still have the good ole' Crabmaster and his store Game Quest to tide me over. I hung out there ALL day today and got this score in three separate purchases:

The WiiU controller I picked up from Target today and the PS3 game I grabbed from the cheap game bin at Walmart:

So I got some stuff.

This is Boku no Natsuyasumi Portable for PSP.  I managed to snag it for $15, which is pretty good.  Now I only want Portable 2 and maybe the PC game.

This is from a pickup from early this week.  Two C64s (one CIB), dataset, disk drive, and assorted games and productivity programs.  I've been using the C64 stuff as blog fodder, so if please read it if you want details.

Buy 2 get 1 free at a local game store. I always spend too much money at these. All of these are complete as well. It took awhile to get to this to bring home as the selection was outstanding.

I always spend too much money but IDC. I would pay full retail for Ogre Battle for PS1 in a heartbeat.

Not really game related, but awesome all the same.  These enormous ninja turtles are originals.

Recent purchases. Received the Xonox double-ender from a guy on Facebook/Game Swap. Quest for Ki was local.

I grabbed these carts via a trade-in from my local retro shop. Twin Bee: Rainbow Bell Adventure (a platformer) and Raccoon Rascal (a puzzle game).

Was another decent set of days off for me that I got to grab some decent game scores from a couple different spots but mostly from my beloved local haunt, Game Quest. First up was a trio of games  from Our very own Crabmasters store, Game Quest:

After spending a small fortune yesterday on a Curio from Costco to display all of my G1 Transformers, I resisted Game Quest, but failed miserably at saving money after stopping by the local Game Stop and grabbing this game on a strong recommendation from Crabby (besides, it was on sale for $25):

Last of my Game Scores was this lot that I got today at Game Quest (The Kingdom Hearts II was brought in by another one of Crabby's regulars and the Crabmaster diplomatically allowed me and the other guy to do the deal in his store):

I so had a bunch of those as a kid. I'd bet they found their way into the abyss by now though unfortunately.

Hey now,

You don't have to kiss up to me-- I'm not the one with nigh-godlike admin powers.  Wink

ANYway, this week's haul is rather modest. I hope you find it in your heart to forgive me if it disappoints you.

- CIB Rhythm Heaven for DS, $5.99 $4.79

- DuckTales Remastered for Wii U, Amazon gift credit: I wouldn't even dream of getting this for one of the non-Nintendo consoles. And neither should you, if you have even the tiniest fragment of decency or self-respect.

- Complete Prima Godfather strategy guide, $2.99 $0.99: The checker cut me a break on this one.

- Archie Sonic Select volume 2, $0.99: I love how easy and cheap it is to pick up birthday and Xmas gifts for the other half of RFG's biggest bromance.

- Mario mini plush, $1.79

- CIB Skylanders Giants Trigger Happy dart blaster, $19.99 $9.99: yet more Target-salvage goodness from my fave Goodwill. Speaking of which:

- Loose Nerf Zombie Strike machete blade, $0.49

All right, now it's on to the stuff I know a certain someone will  totally dig--

Fresh scores coming as soon I build up a decent stack of 'em to photograph. All I'll say is, Nupoile better brace himself...

Oh, I'll be fine. I mean, as long as it's not calculators or something.

Errr... um, uhhh... I, ummm--

*points left* HOLY CRAP, IT'S STEVE LARGENT AND SHAUN ALEXANDER GIVING FREE AUTOGRAPHS!!!

All right, now that he's distracted, check these bad boys out (Quickly, now!):

From left to right:

- TI BA-II Plus Advanced Business Analyst, $3.99

- TI-83 Plus, $5.99

- HP 17B II business calc, $7.29

Cheese it, guys, he's comin' back--

OH, SH--
