Here's a small score, a nice trade with a local friend of mine.  I don't normally collect carts boxed but I just love this box and have been passively looking for a nice one for a few years now.

Only one find this weekend but it was a decent one:

What I'm most excited about this find is that I found it at a new shop that I'd never been to before. I had no idea it existed, and it's only about 10 minutes from where I live. Can't wait to annoy visit these guys more often.

Awesome for some reason I love the minimalist nature of the werewolf box, always have.

Here are my scores I got from the Portland Retro Gaming Expo Swap Meet, I made some deals and got all this for 60 bucks total. I would say this was a good day for me.

And last but definitely not least, I got to meet one of our own, nupoile and his wife. It was awesome meeting you, and putting a face to name

The Elder Scrolls Anthology - PC - CIB

I caution you sir, this is the reason I haven't been so active on the forums of late.

Seriously.

Speaking of which, I have to catch up on commenting on stuff from the last four or so pages:

Sauza12, your GS still has PS2 stuff? My local one stopped carrying that stuff a least a year ago. I like seeing you got a bunch of cheap games, that's exactly what I would do.

Redd, that is a pretty awesome Xbox score.

Zagnorch and EngineerMike, I think that is more like a Weaver rail system rather than Picatinny. At least it doesn't look like the later because of the non-standard spacing slots....wait, sorry, I forgot I wasn't on ExactNomenclatureGeneration.com for a second. And I would make a joke about Optimus Prime being right behind you but I think I already did that the first time you used that picture.

Like Disposed Hero (nice Saturn by the way) I got my premier, kickstarted, issue of Retro:

I know PC hardware has so many rabid fans on this site, especially hardware that is a few years old but not decades old....anyways, bombatomba send me a sweet graphics card for a PC I had sitting in the garage. I have awesome plans for DOSBox and lan setups now. In the note that came with the card he wrote, "Because everyone needs to have a project...."

Like Fokakis79 said above, we got to meet at the local swap meet. It was really good to see him. Our meeting was too brief, we got distracted by all the old games to buy, me thinks. So we promised to meet up again at the next big get together, can't wait  Cheesy

One of the first things we found at the show was the CED version of The Last Starfighter. It didn't fit in our backpack so my wife carried it. At that kind of show it is one of the best conversation starters ever. So many people were like, "Hey! Last Starfighter CED!" We found a couple booths selling Laser Discs and took the opportunity to about double our small collection. $1 for the CED, about $3 for each Laser Disc.

One thing I really enjoy about the Small Scores Thread is seeing games from wildly different platforms in the same picture: $3 for Fable 2, $2 for Spiderman movie, Vic-20 games were free.

Wife found some C64 programs and a book, the programs are on floppies. It was all free. Her "console" as a kid was the C64.

The Wife also found these Gameboy games for $1 each:

The PC and Dreamcast games were $1 each. You can never have too many copies of Jedi Knight (I had 1 or 2 copies already), especially when you just got a sweet graphics card for an old computer. The TG16 games were $10 and $15, I must be going crazy, I guess the TG16 will do that to you   Tongue

Found some C64 (wasn't someone blogging about wanting to get into that system lately?) games and the Fast Load cart, seems to me like they'll fit in that shipping box I got with the 9600GT very nicely.....

Very nice Laserdiscs, love the Die Hard action.

I saw the C64 table, it sounded like they had some awesome deals going on there, don't really have C64, so I did not Partake.

I picked up some $1 games as well, missed some stuff though because I was so late getting there.

If you're talking about the "instruction" text labels, I do remember seeing them somewhere before. I don't remember where, but if you dig around or ask on Famicom World you may have more luck. Welcome to the Famicom Family.

Despite the abrupt end to the 49ers' championship dreams Cry, I snagged consolation scores from my fave Goodwill while on lunch break.  Smiley Which is really weird, 'cuz Sundays are almost always dead as far as thrift-scores go 'round here.

SNES carts, $1.99 each:

- Super Mario Kart
- Yoshi's Island
- Wanderers from Ys III
- Illusion of Gaia

I also found a kiwi-green Game Boy Color with Super Mario Bros. Deluxe at the local Savers for $2.99.

Just two more months 'til the arena football season begins...

I too have a Famicom on the way from sensaiman. I basically waited for him to get in some before pulling the trigger on one. Great guy!

A coworker got me this Sega Saturn and a bunch of games off of Freecycle last night. I'm especially excited because when I had my own Saturn modded over a year ago, it made my then brand new Action Replay cart, as well as all the imports I had bought, unusable. Now I have something to play them on. And since I don't think I posted the import games way back when I got them:

Also, from the same coworker, I got this case for Pokemon Diamond with all the inserts shown. No game, so if you either want the case or have the game and want to unload it cheap, please PM me.

Awesome Saturn stuff!  Being a big survival horror fan, I need to get a copy of Deep Fear for myself.

Why wouldn't you be able to use imports and the Action Replay cart in a modded Saturn?  I have a modded Saturn and those things work in mine with no problem.

I'm not exactly sure why, it just doesn't. The guy who modded it said that happens sometimes. At least now I'm covered.
