Spent around $100 today. $30 at gamestop and $70 at my usual pawn store.

My Gamestop Haul. Really glad to finally find a cheap copy of L.A.I.R. been wanting to try it for a long time but I never could find a boxed copy for cheap. Finally broke down and was going to buy a loose copy for $3 but the store clerk actually found me a CIB copy when he went to retrieve it Smiley.

Pawn shop pick ups

Luckily they mistook the Halo 3 and Gears of War collectors edition tins as DVDs and didn't put them in the front case for $15 Tongue. Got them for $8 a piece. Too bad they are missing the plastic sleeves but at least they had everything else Smiley.

Somebody had pawned a pretty good collection of PS2 racing games.

Hey everyone.  MY brother and I picked up a few things today.  Went to our local store and he traded in some magic cards we found lying around again for some NES titles one Sealed and one pretty much pristine, then we went to lunch and stopped at Salvation Army they don't usually have anything but we decided to check anyways.

These last two months have been kind of tight so I haven't got much lately but September will be fun ;-)

So without further a do -
Local store -
*Flight of the Intruder - Minty Sealed - $30.00 - again he traded for these games
*Venice Beach Volleyball - $20.00
SO he got $50.00 worth of games for his Magic Cards.

Salvation Army -
*Money Decisions 1 - CIB - It's a cassette software for the Commodore
*Superman 70 Piece puzzle - wanted it because I like Superman and this is from 1984 Super Powers show.

Good score. Power Strike is the best 8-bit shooter I've ever played. I'm actually going to be completing my copy this weekend (just have it loose right now).

Excellent! I fully condone CIB when the boxes are plastic.

So this came in the mail the other day, Donkey Kong Country in borderline perfect condition with all the paperwork of the original game and cardboard game insert.

Also had a couple grabs over the past couple weeks at The Exchange. Nintendo Gamecube, Sega Genesis 3, Super Mario Sunshine, Final Fantasy Christal Chronicles, Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 2 Echoes, Legend of Zelda Windwaker, Super Smash Brothers Melee, Infinite Undescovery, The last Remnant (which I actually do thing is a great game), Suikoden, and Phantasy Star 2

Pretty much most of my younger years are in this bunch. All games I loved playing growing up aside from Phantasy Star 2 and Suikoden and Final Fantasy Chrystal Chronicals

Got me a "new" Windows 95 machine along with a small bag of stuff (200w power supply, brand new PS/2 keyboard and mouse, Sound Blaster 512, etc.):

Not as "low end" as I want (this is a PIII 450MHz with a AGP slot), but it does have three PCI and two ISA slots, so at the very least I can play some of my older games on using my Voodoo card.

@Crazy the Possum and bombatomba:    I can't decide which of these is more fun..... Cheesy

bombatomba does that have a gameport or two on there? And you know not to upgrade from Win 95 right? I have several games that refuse to work on anything else. Not even Win 98 or Dosbox or any other work around I've found.

Both? Smiley  Gotta love those old 8-bits.  The Aquarius has some great looking Intellivison ports.

The system has some sort of Ensoniq sound card now that has a game port, and the SB 512 I might install on it also has one.  Gotta have it, especially since PnP is a joke on Win95.  This baby is exclusively for Win95 games and DOS games ≥ 1990 (and some post CGA).  I can personally guarantee that Win98 will never be installed on this machine.  Which reminds me, I found a bunch of unopened Dell OEM Windows 95 installation kits (CD-ROM + floppy) if anyone is interested...

Finally have a new score to share! I'm stoked about all of these:

And while it's not video game related, I am beside myself about this surprise birthday gift:
