Nice grabs on the PS1 stuff, Silver. It seems anything interesting the PS1 has all by dried up around here save for the occasional garage sale.

Thanks Shoboni! That's too bad, a few Gamers stores around here keep a good stock of them, and usually have a few rares.

Hate is a strong word, but I agree with it doesn't get me as excited as it does others.

Foreshadowing: I hope to have a couple grabs soon.

I think the last really interesting thing I grabbed was Alone in the Dark from a pawnshop. Usually it's just sports and licensed games now.

I was the happy recipient of someone's really nice Resident Evil collection over at the local Goodwill today. Also a very nice copy of Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland. These are all for sale for anyone interested in buying/trading.

It's a weird kinda thing. It's a hybrid 3rd person action/lightgun game. It plays like a normal RE game, but when you aim it switches to a first-person mode where you can use a light-gun if you wish.

Check it out:

Totally awesome, right!

Whoa, that's the second-largest collective facepalm I've ever seen on the internet...

Seriously, though, the local thrift scene's been pretty dry the last few weeks. Hope to find something soon, though...

I decided to not only hit my usual flea market, but I also went to 4 other flea markets/antique stores. I didn't do great, but it made for a fun day. I focused mostly on the XBox, since I got one for free from my workplace. My haul was (all games complete):

Penguin Land (Sega Master System) $5
Dragon Ball Z Sagas (XBOX) $4
Taito Legends - sealed (XBOX) $4
Toe Jam and Earl 3 (XBOX) $10

My sister got married this weekend and my awesome brother-in-law gave me this box full of Atari 2600 stuff! He said it was just in his grandpas attic and he thought I would really appreciate it, he was right!

If you decide to part with any of those CIB (I assume) 2600 games, let me know. there's one or two i own but as cart only I'd like to complete.

Got a mystery package in the mail from Mr. Norch.  I opened it up, and was greeted by this little fella...

Big deals today guys. I have been listening to The Collectorcast lately while driving around. Good stuff. They had made a suggestion kinda like on Craigslist that people do looking for games but use Facebook instead. So I asked my friends if anyone had retro stuff they didn't want and they delivered. I got all this stuff for FREE! I was amazed.

Meet up with my friend Howard and I got a Sega CD and a Sega

I already had the 32X but this is the same sega I had before I traded it in. Can't test it yet because I need a power cord.
He also had a few games with it. Disk only. And he gave me a white Ds lite with a guitar hero game, vector man for sega, Charles Barkley for sega, one sega controller and a turbo one.

My next friend Steve lives in Rhode Island so he said he would meet me half way. I drove a hour we had lunch. I paid because he forgot his wallet and I figure it was fair for the stuff he gave me.......... Dreamcast lot
