Ok guys. Got a package in the mail from GamerNick

In the box. Mickey Mousecapade with manual and Commando. I already had the carts but it was a good deal so now I can use those as trade.
Also got the manual for Mario Kart 64

I was out on the scooter today. Stopped at a few shops and swung into savers. Good thing I did

Finally some nes games here. Some were priced high. Mario 2 was $7 and super Mario world was $15

I got three games at $2 a peice

Pretty good. They also had Final Fantasy for $10 was debating on it. It's going for $15 online and Game X change wanted $25. I hide it behind some games in case I change my mind.

it did come fast. Yes you did but unfortunately I don't own a Xbox or that game. Ha, but at least it protected the manual.

Package in the mail from Mr. Norch.  I know it's not exactly gaming, but it can be... as I can play silly games on it if I desire.

He mentioned "something extra"  was in the box when he shipped it, which made me wonder if I needed to hire some trained sniffer dogs to inspect it prior to opening.  Turns out it was Doritos!

I think the post office got a little rough with it...

Thats all for now, I'm off to munch on some Dorito bits and fool around with the new toy!

Doritos, a nerdy calculator, and what essentially amounts to a Hentai sticker. Yep - it's a California nerd's dream.

Great way to wheel and deal, EvilAsh. Now find a copy of Wario Land and enjoy!

Thanks!  And yeah, that's the first on my list.  This thing is giving me a headache. J/K.

Just letting you know the stand is on backwards.  The clip holding the stand to the head unit is pretty fragile, and having them on backward doesn't help too much.

When you grabbed it, did you scream "Mine!  MINE!"?

You're damn right it's mine, and don't you forget it! Or I'll bust an aerated polyurethane cap in your--

Hey everyone got a package in the mail yesterday. Bought this on the chance it wouldn't get it because they seller didn't use a good picture only a stock photo..but the description was right so I got it...cheap.

Behold - Mechanized Attack - Brand New - One more game off my list and THE LAST SNK game I needed.

Is that one good to play? Or just collect?

Stopped at a few shops and swung into savers. Good thing I did

Geez, and I thought the Savers near me priced up their stuff. You should see what they ask for common sports titles...

Anyhoo: did you get a Savers stamp pass? I still need five stamps on mine by the 27th to use it. Unfortunately, I haven't found diddly at either of the ones near me. I might actually have to buy clothes, heaven forbid.

BTW I hope they didn't have a wavebird for sale. Please, God, don't let there be a wavebird there... EVER.

'Course, if they ever do, it'll likely be missing the receiver. Or they'll be selling it separately.

Also, try to check under the battery cover to see if there are old batteries in there that have burst and corroded the innards. Sadly, I've found several like in my many thrift runs.

Aw, crap... sorry 'bout that, bud. I was sure there was be enough space for it to not burst on ya in transit. I'll make it up to you, pinky swear. Looks like the anime chick got a bit o' crunchy cheesy bukkake action, huh?  Grin

All right, time to show off my latest pickups:

- Two Code Vault magazines, $1.99 each

- Pokemon Stadium 2, $3.69

- Glover, $3.69

- Kirby's Dream Land 2, $3.69

- Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure for the 360, $3.69

- CIB Advent Rising, $0.99

- CIB Star Wars KotOR (Platinum Hits), $0.99: this is the first Platinum hits version of KotOR I've ever encountered at the thrifts. If only it were KotOR II, then I could wheel and deal with Duke.Togo over--

Oh.... right.

Never mind.  Sad

- A really sweet Decepticon-logo dog tag pendant from Amazon. Bought with gift card credit.

Well, that's it for now. With any luck, I'll find some stuff to show off from my post-work thrift run tomorrow, and my yard-saleing on Saturday.

Nighters...
