Today's yard sale pickups:

The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass and Professor Layton and the Last Specter: $10
GBA SP with licensed/kids games, box of PS1/PS2 controllers (not pictured): $25
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Resident Evil, Resident Evil Zero, Gamecube Controller, Space Channel 5 CD: $20

Still no huge scores this year, but I'm happy to have Fire Emblem in my GameCube collection. Smiley

I'm going to the Seattle Retro Gaming Expo today.I'm sure ill come back with a box full of useless s***.

That's awesome, it looks really casual and light amount of people.

No funds right now for that sort of thing got wedding stuff to attend to. Next year I am definitely going

It was disappointing.  Almost worse than last year.  Definitely not worth $15.  The vendor hall was tiny, too crowded, and the selection was slim.  There was a room for free play of a few different consoles, but you had to sign up in order to play and there was a big line for that too.  I didn't bother hanging around for any of the panels so i can't speak on that.

Either way, that's two disappointing years in a row, I'm not going next year.  How does Portland get it right every year?  Why can't Seattle?  Seattle is a much bigger city, more people, larger community....somehow can't figure it out.

With that or of the way, i did end up grabbing some high quality LJN titles.

@retrorage: That sucks, yeah I heard the Portland convention is awesome. I guess I won't worry about this when next year rolls around. At least you got some "great" games, enjoy that Terminator music.  Wink

We rode up to here on Saturday, so I didn't do any hunting.

But a buddy called me when I was back in town to alert me of a Gamecube lot on CL.

Mario Power Tennis CIB, Super Mario Strikers CIB, Zelda Collector's Edition NFR CIB, Pokemon Colosseum (no manual), and Mario Golf CIB (I gave him the Mario Golf case and game as an unexpected finder's fee, but needed the manual) - $30

The remaining games are from a trade that said buddy is slowly paying back as he finds things I need.  And he gave me a bag of Mario candies.

It's nice to have someone else looking out for you.

So this afternoon i was minding my own business sittin on the computer in my underwear, when i hear a knock on the door.  I say "who could that be?"  I open the door, look down and see a nice package from the lovable Zagnorch.  Included in the package was a letter of his wellwishes on my upcoming nuptials, and this t-shirt.  Thanks buddy.
