So I stop by the post office today and I have a package. I wasn't expecting anything, and I didn't recognize the return address. I open it up and low and behold:

So I'm pretty sure it came from a staff member here, since the Collectorcast twitter account had a message from the RFG account asking "Any of you guys Coloring any Dinosaurs lately?" So who is the extremely generous person I have to thank?? THANK YOU!

Man you just got the 2nd coolest NES game ever made? I'm so jealous.

Of course we all know what Number 1 is.

Don't look at me; I'm too cheap to buy myself one of those, let alone for someone else.

However, I am crafting a CollectorCast-related thingy I hope to send you or one of your co-hosts by Halloween...

I just noticed the receipt with the shirt had a message: "You can thank Crabby for this one."

THANKS CRABBO!

Wasn't me, though Color A Dinosaur is pretty fun.
If I had to guess, it was NES_Rules.

Yes, it was I who had the stuff shipped to you Duke. But it was mostly all Crabby's idea, especially for that game. Since he won the contest this year, he decided to give his prizes to you.

And this is completely coincidental, but I finally decided today to post my scores from the past couple months. Which is the only reason I came into this thread today, I usually just wait for the Collectorcast to get caught up on the scores. There's no free Color A Dinosaur, but maybe, just maybe they'll be worth a few seconds of Collectocast air-time.

I first spotted the NES games under a table at a garage sale with a "$1 each" sign on them. I pick up the box of them and discover the GameCube stuff under them. So I ask how much for all of it. The guy pauses for a few seconds, but I throw out a "$20?" at the same time he says "$10?". I tried being reasonable and offering $15, but he insisted $10 was fine. So I paid it.

This was a sort of similar situation. I spotted that brown plastic/leather Commodore cover on top of a box, I lift it up and find the C64 under it. I ask how much and a woman said $15 for each box. I then notice two other boxes sitting next to it, I look inside and find more C64 stuff. But $45 was too much for me, so I said "no thanks" and closed up the boxes. She responded with "what would you pay for them?" I said I'd give he $5 for everything. She didn't like that and came back with $15 for it all. I came back with $10, and she agreed. On my third trip back for the last box (the boxes are surprisingly heavy, so I had to carry them one at a time, I later discovered that weight is all in those disk drives) she asked me, "so what is all this stuff anyway?".

Nice!  I've still got an eye out for a C64 or something along those lines when I'm out fooling around, no such luck yet.  Grats on the cheap finds!

Well thank you very much, sir! I'll also be sure to give Crabby some mighty thanks as well.

Boxed Blackjack? Very nice. I hope the label on it is good. So many of those AVE ones go bad.

That C64 lot is really nice. All of that for $15 is great.

I've been wondering where your posts were. I missed the old garage sale find blog posts you used to do with your running totals for the year.

Very nice GameCube lot for $10!  Oh, and just to report back, the Xbox 360 that I picked up for free works!  Well I don't have a 360 controller to try out games, but I threw a couple of Xbox original games in it, and they loaded right up! Anyone in need of a 360?

I once made the mistake of smelling a NES cart.  Man, the last guy that blew in it must have had bad breath, because it smelled like a sack full of assholes.
