Thanks!  Around $60-70, yeah.  I wasn't even aware of that when I was in the store, I just saw an unlicensed NES cart for $2.99 and knew to grab it no matter what at that price.  I was expecting it to be worth maybe $10 to $15 and was surprised when I got back to the car and consulted my phone on it.

Not surprised at where you found it - Maxi-15 is much easier to find near Canada.

This is probably my first score in awhile that most closely fits the spirit of this thread.

Wow, $2.99 each? I only wish the Savers near me sold 'em that cheaply; they're usually asking $4.99 per.

Heck, one of 'em has a sleeved SMB/Duck Hunt cart in their collectibles showcase that they were asking $19.99 for.

I've grabbed a couple things over the last few days myself, but I'll reveal 'em a little later.

Went and did some running around with Nick and his brother again.  Ended up with Mega Man 8 and Saga Frontier on PS, Journey to Silius and Snake Rattle and Roll on NES, Mr. Do!, Zaxxon, and Cosmic Avenger on ColecoVision.  Finally snagged a gold Ocarina of Time cart, and picked up Samurai Shodown on 3DO.

Other pickups were Twilight Princess on Wii, Dark Wizard for Sega CD, and a pair of Wico Command Control sticks for 5200.

and then there was the IMPULSE BUY OF THE WEEK that I may end up hating myself for, and would have hated myself for passing up on it anyhow.  So after arguing with the voices in my head I snagged this...

the box is a bit rough, but the system and other stuff in the box is in great shape.

Same. Those Wico controllers are the only decent ones for 5200. Tongue

The 3DO FZ1 is just so cool looking.  Grab a copy of Super Street Fighter II Turbo & Gex and feel your doubts melt away.  At $700 I can see why the 3DO was so hated, but with them going for under $100 these days I hope they are now more appreciated.

I haven't posted in a while due to everyone around me losing their shit and getting into bad situations.  That doesn't mean I didn't find time to buy stuff.  Such is my resolve.

I got these at a bi-annual flea market by me.  There wasn't much there, but I did run into a collector that was selling off a bunch of his doubles.  Seemed like a nice guy and I would have normally talked to him more, but I made the mistake of bring my kid with me and she drained my energy half way through the flea market.

And this isn't video game related, but it is just so damn cool I had to mention it.  It's a 7 CD rom set with every Mad magazine from issue #1 through December of 1998.  It still had all of the extra goodies that originally came with it, like the mouse pad and the Mad toilet paper (still wrapped!).  The only downside is the thrift I bought it from wrapped pretty much the entire box in packing tape, and I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to get it all off.  Still, it only cost me $1.50 so score!

Yep.  That's a fantastic score.

Hey everyone as Engel had mentioned earlier we went out and did some browsing and my brother had some extra cash to blow and I had a little bit to spend but not a whole lot. Engel's hunt overall was a ton better (Shouldn't have mentioned or shown him the 3DO)  The games there are kind of high priced so my suggestion to him to get a decent library is hit up eBay or put a wanted list on here Cheesy  Well to begin with I had to dig deep into the pockets to purchase some NES Protectors at a great price since he is local like to give a shout out to  http://www.videogameboxprotectors.com/ - Jim is a great guy to work with and he has great material. SO I suggest everyone buy some protectors he has them for most systems that need them and at pretty decent prices.

Then on to today we went to HPB and I bought a few comics for $0.50 - $1.00 a piece (not pictured).  My brother picked up a few strategy guides we needed one on double but not for sale at this point.  Then we went to Gamers #1 - we picked up a bunch of 32X stuff (some of which will be for sale so keep an eye out in my FS/FT Thread) and CIB Genesis game.  Then onto Gamers #2 - Engel got me a PS1 game and my brother picked up a few ColecoVision Games.  Then we went to a local store where engel got his 3DO and I put down some more money on my layaway and I picked up a CIB Genesis game.  Then final stop was Gamers #3 - I picked up a few boxed N64 and NES games.
