REALLY?!?! I was told the same thing at Gamestop. And it was by a guy who I generally consider a pretty good employee. Mother F'ers. I'm gonna contact them right now!

I renewed about a month ago and they asked me, and when I was there the other day getting that NG3 CE they would asked the guy ahead of me if he wanted paper or digital.

I found a Virtual Boy game in the $1 bin at the Exchange the other day Wasn't anything super rare (Mario Tennis) but I never saw a VB game in the wild before.

Ah yes, I remember the days of those constant late-night infomercials.  I wanted one so bad, but $700?  That was 5 of my paychecks back when I was in high school.  After receiving my first CD-i game from slackur the other day, I decided it was time.

DVS VE-200 in great condition, with built in digital video cartridge to read my old VCD discs from when I was overseas.  Unfortunately, the VCD picture was so low resolution back then that they look like crap on my big screen.  I have some more games on the way, and I will definitely need to grab a light gun and a better controller.  Burn: Cycle is a pain in the tail with this controller.  Anyone have CD-i stuff FS/FT?

It started with grabbing Puzzle Bobble VS for the best price I've seen, so I ended up with the rest of these from the same eBay seller.

The other day I ended up downtown and done with my work day before the stores were closed, so I stopped at a couple of pawn shops.  Oh, Baby!

From the first, I grabbed Mario Party 3 & Super Smash Bros for $15 each and a Pokemon Yellow & Crystal for $7 each.

And then it turns out the second stop ALSO had a Pokemon Yellow for $6.  PS2s were $5 each and the House of the Dead Returns was retail.
The Godzilla PS2 is interesting.  It's obviously a knock-off because it's in English but is labelled as NTSC-J, and the Playstation 2 lettering at the bottom is clear instead of white so you can see the disc behind the label.  They could have at least called him Gojira on the disc.  $2 for a Godzilla oddity.

When I got home, I realized that it was such a great hunting night so far that I had to swing by my only remaining weekly stop - CDWorld.  They had just placed these in the case that afternoon.

All CIB, except Lethal Enforcers II is missing the manual.

Not a bad week so far.  And next week will be much better as it is my last at my current job.  Bigger and better things, man!

Part # on Godzilla? It may be an Asian copy, which would explain the English NTSC-J.

That's $2.39, not $239, if that's what you're thinking XD.

I just blew my goal of getting 100 Atari 2600 games this year out of the water. Got 211 Atari carts for $75. Guy had a sign up for $2 a piece or 3 for $5. However once he saw me going through them he was like $1 a piece which excited me so much that I said I'm tempted to just buy them all. At which point he said there are about 200 there if you want them you can have the whole lot for $75. At which point my jaw dropped and I threw money at him. He was even nice enough to chase me into the parking lot and give me a copy of Airlock with the manual that I must have overlooked when grabbing the boxes.

Well......I think we all know how I feel about this score. Way to bolster your collection for a great price.  There are some really fun titles in there from what I can see (and maybe a few more with the end labels missing) and even a few good 7800 games. You should even be able to recoup at least some of your expenses by selling the dups. Nothing scarce or rare as I can see, but even so, you really cleaned up.

Going through them now will pop up a complete list once I finish. There are alot of dups and stuff that I know I already have copies of so alot of this will probably be hitting my sales thread. Going through the boxes right now will pop up a list once I'm finished.
