Well a trip to a Goodwill I don't frequent turned out alright today.  My girlfriend spotted several games and basically kicked me out of that part of the store so she could buy them for me.  The only thing that was a dupe for me was Tony Hawk.  Everything but the tape and Pokemon is going to ebay or my trade folder.  The funny part was the Bill & Ted game was in a GameBoy case and marked $3.  The Motocross Maniacs 2 and Pokemon were in a ziplock bag and also marked $3 for both.  The tape was $0.50 but I like hanging on to those old N64 promo tapes.  I have a Diddy Kong Racing one, and I think a Majoras Mask one somewhere.

So you may or may not remember how I came into an empty case and manual for Mega Man Legends 2 at the end of September last year. A quick recap:

So my band had a gig at a friend's house last night and I saw these, and thanks to all the whiskey I'd been drinking, straight up asked if I could have them. Ask and ye shall receive, they say. Unfortunately the disc for MML2 is supposedly destroyed/lost so that's just the case and manual. The 7800 is brand new-ish however.

Well I saw my friend again at another gig last night and look what he had for me!

He told me when he found it that it was "pretty scratched up." Well I'm here to tell you, it isn't. It looks and plays great. A wonderful piece is finally complete in its new home and as seems to be the case with a lot of the best/rarest/most valuable games in my collection, it was a gift, free of charge, from a friend. Gotta love it!

Hopefully i didn't break the internet with this post lol. I've never seen those NES cases before, they're a little rusty but still in pretty good shape!

@IX do you have that Bratz game on GameCube?

I have seen those NES cases before, but that was many years ago at a flea market.  The guy was using it to sell games out of and wouldn't part with the case at all.  Not even when I offered to buy every game in the case just to get the case with it.  That's an incredible find.  If they are going in your FS thread, I will PM you about some N64 stuff.

Finally getting around to testing out my phone's camera, and figured I should take my yearly stab at taunting Duke while I'm at it:

Picked up Tony Hawk: Ride (Walmart Edition) and Kung Zhu CE both NIB for $15 total yesterday as well. Tony Hawk comes with the fancy Hawk board instead of the plain black board.

Well by time I do a post haven't for a little while Smiley Got some stuff in the mail today from Bickman2 and a few eBay purchases from a week to two weeks ago and also a few purchases my brother picked up the other day. As most know I am in the process of completing the NES Licensed Set like a few others on here but they are way ahead of me Bickman helped me knock out quite a few titles thanks Bick!  I also picked up a Replacement cart but bought it CIB for Roger Clemens Baseball, so I will have a manual and cart for that in the FS/FT sometime this week.  So here is the rundown and the pictures!

*Roger Clemens MVP Baseball - CIB $6.00
*Burnout 3 - Black Label PS2 - $10.00 (Will have a greatest hits copy of this going up in my thread)
*Oregon Trail 2 - CIB - PC - $20.00

My area's been pretty bone dry. I need to move out of college town that dies every summer to really have a fruitful garage sale season.

Since I've been sitting on a game collecting budget I decided to drop some cash at the local game store. $10 each and Wonder Boy is CIB.

EDIT: The book was 85¢

I was at Wal-Mart and they had Hitman: Absolution on a major price cut from $40 to $20, so I grabbed it.

I usually post pics, but I'm feeling incredibly lazy at the moment. Picked up some more shelving to use at my proposed store today and a few more games (mostly Xbox and PS2) at $1 a piece. Nothing too exciting, but I did get a CIB copy of Adventures of Lomax on the Playstation for that $1 which was pretty cool.

So, it's finally shut down for good, my much loved game store.  On the final day, as they were cleaning everything else out, I shot the owner an offer for all remaining stock and he accepted. I also picked up more display pieces that will be shown later, including two game stations.

I apologize to the recipients of my sports cart giveaway, but there's gonna be a delay as I sort through this:

Thrift store finds this weekend:

$5 each on the XBox 360 titles.  The CIB Tetris and Earthworm Jim are FS/FT.

And tonight I found a bag of goodies on the front step that came from some slackur person.  It was apparently a rebuttal to my free gift packages.  Yeah, like I'm going to stop because you sent me stuff that I now have to tediously sort through and play.  Gotta do better than that.

Unfortunately the package had been taped shut and marked as received opened by the PO.  So either the sender pretended that there were Skittles in the package knowing it would arrive in such a state, only to crush my hopes of fruity deliciousness, or my mailman has a serious sweet tooth and desire for an ass-whoopin'.

Seriously, thanks for the cool stuff.  My first CDi title, another Hockey game, and I have been eyeing the Chrono Trigger soundtrack for a while and now I have it!  Hopefully there wasn't anything else that fell out.
