Not worth photos, but picked up manuals for Mega Man 3 and Mega Man 4 to complete the copies that I had.

So, I went to a sale and the old windbag was using ebay as a price guide AT A YARD SALE. I mean that literally, I asked how much for some NES game-pads and he checked Ebay right in front of me.(and didn't even know what he was doing and tried to price it off a NES themed Iphone case because he was going by the pictures, and was looking at unfinished auction prices.)

Good God, use Craigslist to sell that crap.

That would not go down very well in my neighbourhood. Nothing more than $5 unless it's furniture. Did this person end up selling anything?

I blame those terrible reality shows where everyone magically finds a ba-jillion dollars worth of crud in yard sales and storage lockers.

HEY NOW!

My post-work thrift crawl culminated in a trip to the local Salvation Army, which only very rarely has anything I'd be interested in.

But when it does have something of interest, it usually has it in spades.

It's Mario time with the following CIB Wii titles I picked up for $2.99 each:

- Super Mario Galaxy

- Mario Strikers Charged

- Super Smash Bros. Brawl

I also grabbed a couple CIB PS2 games:

- Dark Cloud (Greatest Hits), $0.99: Just got the Prima guide to this a couple days ago... which is also a "Greatest Hits" release. Strange coincidence, I know...

- Star Ocean: 'Till the End of Time, $1.99: Now I have a copy with the cover box.

I also picked up a CIB Super Mario Sunshine (Player's Choice) elsewhere for $4.99. And I know this game is Duke.Togo's "jam," as WildBil52 would  put it. So drop me a PM if you're interested, big guy-- I'll put it aside for ya.  Wink

I don't think he got anything game related sold.

Pretty much nailed it. Same problem with the shows about collecting scrap metal.

Not a Mario fan anymore but from what I remember the hype leading up to it was the first 3D Mario since 64 and since Nintendo hyped it as an evolved version got peoples hopes even higher. Then showed to be a mix of Mario World and 64. When the game came out it was very solid and a well made game. Had some quirks like Bowser talking and weird message where the peach is boswers kids' mom...yeah.. Yoshi is vomiting on everything and dies in water. That said the gameplay was fine but the game just could not live up to the hype and had odd moments. Victim of hype mainly.

Hey everyone Engel and I work at a grocery store and one day I was sorting stuff in an aisle I don't normally work on I found something stuffed behind the actual shelf on the top shelf.  I saw this little white thing sticking out so I grabbed it and I was like wow! It's an Independence Day The Game Coupon that was put on Orbitz - THE DRINK not the GUM - Anyone remember Orbitz?!?!? It had little jelly like balls in a drink they came in multiple flavors!

I know not really a score but a pretty cool gaming related memorabilia!

The Coupon -
