Picked up a GunCon 2 for Playstation at the Goodwill today. Does anyone know what games I should get, so I can play with it?

Area 51 was fun.   Also I used to love Die Hard Trilogy, but not sure if it's held up.

Nice mix of stuff, there.

Here's the new stuff I've gotten in the last couple weeks:

I don't even really collect GBA games, but I got great deals on all of this stuff. Everything is in excellent condition. (Not pictured: A sealed copy of Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones that was shipped in a bubble mailer and mangled on it's way to me. Seller took no responsibility. Already re-listed on eBay to try and recoup some of my cost.)

There's a real Fire Emblem theme happening...

These are the games I snagged for dirt cheap (relative to retail cost) on eBay. The box for DWIII is absolutely the nicest NES box I've ever seen. It's beautiful.

They also just so happen to complete my NES CIB set!! This was one of my very first collecting goals when I started collecting. It took me 12 years, but I finally finished.

Congrats Bad Enough Dude! The original Dragon Warrior was one of the first games I ever played.

Here's what I got today:

Everything except the 360 games are from Gamestop. Shout out to KidA for pointing out the 50% off sale they are having right now. Every thing here is only a buck or two each right now. All these titles except Red Steel 2 and Battalion Wars 2 were purchased for trade fodder so if anyone needs any of this junk let me know.

The 360 games, Viking: Battle For Asgard and Two Worlds came from my new friend the_wizard_666, with whom I worked out a nice trade on this board. Thanks dude!

God I love the Dragon Warrior series.  Nice grabs!

I mentioned probably a month ago about a thrift I went to that reeked of weed.  I went back there today and two things happened:

1)  It doesn't smell like weed anymore, so I guess they left the doors open to air it out.
2)  I grabbed a pretty WTF game from there.

On the right side that's a PAL copy of Brian Lara Cricket for the PS1.  I've very, very rarely seen any import games around here even at retro game shops, so to find one at a Salvation Army thrift in the middle of shitty neighborhood that previously smelled like Snoop Dog's tour bus was beyond bizarre.  For $2 I couldn't pass it up.  I'm assuming it won't, but does anyone know if it will work on an un-modded NTSC PS1?  I'd kind of like to give it a spin.

Hey now!

Wanna see my hot dog?

Sure you do!

Just scroll on down to take a long, hard look!

Slowly now, that's it...

Mmmm yeah.....

You like that, don't you?

Aaaaand here you go:

Yep, got me a Wally World-exclusive Skylanders Giants Molten Hot Dog, as well as a glow-in-the-dark Sonic Boom.

I also hit the thrifts, and grabbed...

- CIB Super Pinball mini handheld, $0.89

- BradyGames Cheat Code Explosion book, $0.99

- Japanese-language Tales of the Abyss manga vol. 1, $0.99

- Component AV cable for XBox, $2.99: Oddly enough, I've never owned one of these before.

[

I also did some trades at a local used-media joint, and picked up the following CIB titles...

- Ball Breakers, PS1

- SpyBorgs, Wii

- Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker, PSP

- Atari Classics Evolved, PSP

- Star Wars Rebel Strike preview disc

Elsewhere, I found a CIB copy of Super Smash Bros. Brawl for $5.95 and Dungeons & Dragons Tactics for $1.95.

Then there was the biggest grab of the week today when, on my lunch break,  I went to the Goodwill near my workplace:

For $14.99 I got the Game Boy with case and the following carts:

- Metroid 2: Return of Samus

- Yoshi

- Super Mario Land

- Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden COins

- Mega Man: Dr. Wiley's Revenge

- Home Alone

- the New Chessmaster

- Tiny Toon Adventures: Babs' Big break

- Sports Illustrated Championship Football & Baseball

Then there were the Super Nes and N64 carts I snapped up for $1.99 a pop...

Super NES:

- StarFox

- Super Mario Kart

- Super Mario World

- The Lion King

- Mario Paint

- Donkey Kong Country

- TMNT IV: Turtles in Time
: this is one I've been  looking to add to my stack for quite some time.

N64:

- Diddy Kong Racing

- LoZ: Ocarina of Time

- LoZ: Majora's Mask
gold cart

- Super Mario 64

- Mario Golf

- GoldenEye

- Quest 64

I picked out three of the above carts from the electronics showcase. When I came to the counter to ring up, the cashier told me there were several more SNES and N64 games in a box behind the counter he hadn't yet put in the showcase, and asked me if I wanted to take a look at 'em. Is that the best timing ever or what?

I went shoppin' and had a great time.

Wow, that's a great price for all of that!  Hell, the Sonic CD is probably worth the $20 by itself.

I went out to a few more thrifts today.  Finally found a Gamecube game that's actually worth owning.

Also, big boxes are awesome.
