Had a nice weekend o' grabs that I wanted to mention. First on Friday, I traveled another county over to meet a guy and sell my old road bike. "Ironically," the meeting place I decided on was near an Antique mall I like to frequent every few months, which has a vendor who always has 2600, Colecovision, and NES games. I purchased the following for $3 each:

Tarzan (Coleco) - for sale
Omega Race (Coleco) - for sale
Gold Medal Challenge '92 (NES) - heading north to the most violent city in Canada
Touchdown Fever (NES) - heading out to the land of the Hawkeyes
Laser Gates (2600) - for sale

On Saturday, I checked out another out-of-town used game/book store and grabbed a copy of Kid Klown, one of my remaining licensed titles for the NES (21 to go  Grin ). Not a stellar deal on this game, but none-the-less, a little cheaper than anything on ePay.

Finally, I've been working out a deal with one of our members, BenG67, regarding a few 2600 titles and a nice stack of 2600 Zellers games. I was about to ship the games on Friday and noticed that he lived about an hour or so from me.  I mentioned this to him and he told me that he was going to check out the arcade/game store that I frequent in town.  My local bi-monthy video game/pinball auction was this weekend and he decided to meet me there to check out the game cabs and other such machines.  This was my first face-to-face trade with an RFGen member, besides Deviant, who I went to school with, and it was a great experience. Ben is a nice guy and I encourage anyone who is interested in any of this stuff listed on in his sale thread, get in touch with him to trade.  All of the games he gave me were high quality and in sealed baggies......made me feel like a schmuck, even though my games were nice! Smiley Very cool to meet one of our members and I look forward to more trades with him in the future. Here's the list of 2600 games I got:

Cross Force (Spectravision)
Star Fox (completes my 2600 Mythicon collection)
Busy Police (Zellers)
Circus (Zellers)
Dragon Treasure (Zellers)
Frontline (Zellers)
Laser Volley (Zellers)
Ocean City Defender (Zellers)

Had lots of writing on it, but I managed to get it all off. Also a nasty Blockbuster rental sticker on the back, which tore the back label. Had to cannibalize a Home Alone 2 cart with the same era back label, but now it's as good as new. R.I.P. Culkin!

Here are my picks up from over the weekend. The intellivision and sega games were about 2 bucks a piece, and the Atari Flashback for 5 bucks.
All stuff I don't have, so they will be added to my collection.

Some you can't tell what they are by the picture.
So I got:
Advanced Dungeons and Dragons
Space Spartans, great to own another intellivoice compatible game
Microsurgeon
Pitfall
Utopia
Demon Attack
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and NBA Jam for the Genesis

I got them off eBay, which seems to be about the only place I ever find Super Famicom games.  They're all common and a few are beat up but I only paid a buck each so why not?

Well, that explains the surge of SFC titles in the submission queue lately. Smiley
