And that brings me to the package I received from wildbil52.  Sorry about telling your story, Bil.  He sent me a message, asking if I would send him my Full Throttle box to have signed, since he would be standing in front of Mr Tim Schafer at PAX East.  He had purchased another, but wasn't expecting it in time.  I was happy to help but asked if, at least, I could send my copy of Brutal Legend to have it signed as well.  Turns out that Bil received his copy in time, so the mailman delivered this lot yesterday.

The VB Golf was from another trade, but Zenses was a gift.  Thank you, Sir.  I love the personalized inscriptions.  Seeing my name above Jack Black's CGI head made me want to pick up the Les Paul and jam.  For Bladehenge!

FOR BLADE HENGE!!!! Thats freaking awesome! Bil kicks ass!

I took a picture of the stuff I found recently but it so isn't worth posting.  I've picked up 9 PS1 games over the past week, 7 of which are sports games and 1 was a Bob the Builder game.  I don't usually like to complain when all I can find are sports games, because at least I'm finding something, you know?.  Still, this recent run has been ridiculous.  The best things I've picked up recently was a VHS copy of The Stuff and Rush - Signals on Vinyl, and I don't collect records or VHS.

And since the CollectorCast guys don't read the text to find the stories behind the best scores, watch out for the killer Emu!

Who says we don't read? Nice grab on Mass Effect 2 BTW, I'm working hard on my 100% insanity run on that now.

Who says we don't read?

I think he's more surprised that you're actually able to read...

Anyway!

I didn't let bein' all gimped out stop me from doin' a little thriftin'.

- Excalibur Frogger mini-arcade tabletop game, $1.99

- Mattel Electronic Chess handheld game, $1.99: Somehow, I doubt this is superior to Saitek or Excalibur's better electronic chess computers.

- CIB Trauma Center: Second Opinion fpr Wii, $5.95

- CIB London Taxi Rush Hour for Wii, $1.95: I always wondered if Crazy Taxi had an imitator...

- CIB Dark Angel: Vampire Apocalypse for PS2, $2.99

- Loose TI-85 graphing calculator, $4.99

- Mario Bros. & Donkey Kong gummies

Aaaaand, of course...

...Skylanders Giants stuff, including:

- Spyro talking plush, $1.99: more Target-salvage goodness.

- Ninjini and Series 2 Spyro, under $20 for both: Picked these up at the haunted Toys R Us after work. I told the R-Zone clerk what I was looking for, and he had a couple sealed cases he hadn't yet opened. Talk about good timing! But before the sale was complete, he had me promise to complete an online survey about my shopping experience. Seeing as how the guy went above and beyond for me, I figured why not throw him a bone. I also have a chance at winning five-hundy...

Its been dead and quiet at my thrift stores, flea markets have been cancelled, and bad weather has pushed garage sales a bit further back, but I still find a way to score!

CL finally pulls through and I find an ad with boxed NES games pictured with words saying there are more games, $50 was the only price in the ad. I check everything out and get to talking money before asking if I could get what I had in my stack for $40 and he said he would give me everything for that, so I took it all.

Rampart is the best box by far.

I got a few dupes out of this find, and a French CIB copy of Star Wars, that will be going up in my B/S/T thread.

Ah the venerable old TI-85.  I miss mine.  Not that I was a math whiz in those advanced classes that required it, but I could play crude games on it! ah, high school...

Awesome find on the Frogger Tabletop. Only seen one of the tabletop arcade games in the wild and they wanted $50.

My finds for the week:

All the PS2 games but godhand were $1 each complete
The 2 PS3 games and GodHand for $20 (2nd copy of GodHand. I have a sealed one. If this is clean enough I'll be selling the sealed copy)
The 2 PC games $1.59 combined
Conker Live and Uncut with no manual. (This is a second so I will be listing it on Thursday. (Still no manual for this game for me)
The DS case is one that will work with my new Pikachu 3dsXL, used $1.59
Also found a YuGiOhWorldwide Edition Guide for $0.10 (not in picture)

Awesome find on the Frogger Tabletop. Only seen one of the tabletop arcade games in the wild and they wanted $50.

The one I found wasn't an original from the 80s, but a quasi-reissue by Excalibur from 2005.

Not that this is a big deal; I still dig it.

Been some slim pickings lately, but Picked up a few things from thrift stores around here this past week. I also got a PS memory card courtesy of GrayGhost.

I also got an ebay win for Castlevania: The Adventure and Castlevania: Circle of the Moon for 7 bucks. I am getting close to my Collecting Goal this year, of picking up all Castlevania games with the exception of the DS games since I don't have one of those.
