Hey everyone! Got a nice package in the mail from our very own Johnny Nintendo!  I bought a ton a of games from him last week to cross of my wanted NES list to complete my set down to 120 now!! Also picked up a few upgrades from him as well.  Also a Castlevania 3 manual which I am going to keep an eye out for a cart upgrade for him.  I also went to CD Tradepost and used some store credit to pick up Ivan's Off Road which I thought I had but never did!  Also picked up a Lethal Weapon NES manual and Pro Wrestling manual for free! SO in my sales thread there will be a Pro Wrestling manual without cover for sale and a Lethal Weapon manual for sale.

So here's the picture! Enjoy! AND Thanks again Johnny! Always a pleasure to work with!

Does Suikoden Tactics pay like Final Fantasy Tactics?

Kind of, but imagine FFT slowing down even further and not knowing how to navigate anything.

Picked up a copy of "I Want My Mommy" for the 2600 yesterday.  Yes, that is a real game. Tongue

That's disappointing.  I've been looking for years for a game that plays as good as FFT, but alas....nothing.

I found some cheap sports N64 titles I didn't have yet at my local retro store.  The Oracle of Ages book I had already, but I just got in Oracle of seasons to complete my set.  The book was $0.01 on amazon, and $3.99 to ship it.

Jeanne D'Arc for the PSP. Maybe my favorite SRPG ever.

OK, so this one has a bit of a story.  Full Throttle is my favorite adventure game and I just found out that Tim Schafer is going to have signing sessions at PAX East next week.  I'm not usually much of a signature guy, but for Full Throttle, I'm making an exception.

I found a copy of Full Throttle on ebay and I put a bit on it.  In true "me" fashion, I didn't read the auction details closely enough and it's coming from Canada and won't show up in time.

I reached out to Techie413 cause I knew he had one and we struck a deal.  He sent me his copy of Full Throttle so I can get it signed and I am sending him the copy I get from my ebay auction.  He also sent me Brutal Legend, I'm going to have Tim sign that (as well as the Full Throttle paperwork for Tech) and send those back to him.

In true Techie fashion, he threw in an awesome freebie that I totally love...or he wants me to have Tim Schafer sign a 7th Guest strategy guide.

*sigh* There are so many things I've had the opportunity of getting signed over the years. I've worked with numerous Atari programmers, including Mark Turmel, I've had long talks with Peter Moore about his Sega days and his view of the future of the industry, and I've met various sports stars and public figures. Yet, I've never had much of anything signed except for a Kinect promotional event where Major Nelson was kind enough to chat with us, get a photo and sign a few things. So many wasted opportunities, but I hate pushing things in front of people.

In the least, someone will enjoy their copy of Full Throttle.  Cool
7th Guest is also fantastic if you have a copy.

Hey now!

Found several stacks of paper for $0.49 each.

- 2 Nintendo Power Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3 strategy guides: anybody lookin' for one of these?

- Prima Zelda The Wind Waker strategy guide

- How to Win at Super Mario Bros. Games

- How to Win at Super Nintendo Games

- 101 Nintendo Secrets Revealed

I also picked up some games & hardware:

- Sega Game gear with holder tray and cased copies of Sonic, Chuck Rock, and Columns, $4.99: Although the game Gear doesn't work, I was buying it for parts and the game cases anyway. Also, the holder tray is kinda neat.

- CIB Assassin's Creed for Wii U, $15.99: More Target-salvage goodness to flip.

- limited edition release of Shenmue with soundtrack CD (no manual) for Dreamcast, $$3.99 $2.79: A little trade-up to replace my boring regular version of the game.

- Sealed Shenmue II for XBox, $2.99 $2.09

- Nyko Cobra Light Gun for PS1 & Saturn, $2.99: I like how it resembles Robocop's gun.

A few notable non-vidya grabs:

- Packaged Japanese Transformers Armada Blastarm, $2.99

- Warhammer Empire Collector's Guide, $0.99

- Two TI-83 Plus calculators, $4.99 each

Aaaaand there you have it... for now.

I have three of the Rovin books now, and I found them all at the same thrift.

I should probably go back there again in a few days, just to see if I get lucky again.

Nice, I would like to own them all, someday. Not sure how many he wrote. I know they are to be found on ebay for pretty cheap, but I hope to find them at the thrift.
