Its Two Towers, big Interplay grab in those big boxes!

All of them are complete to my knowledge, big manuals still intact. This LOTR even has the Clue Book! 5 3.5" or the option of the 3 5.25" Floppies, don't copy these!

I should scan this awesome Interplay catalog, advertising games like Star Trek 25th Anniversary, Out of this World, Battle Chess, and Mario Teaches Typing.

Had a big haul today, but its because they're all a bunch of small scores.

Great score love the PC games! Still need to pick up two towers myself.

I didn't get all of this at once, but over the course of a few weeks.

Some PSP games.  The loose UMDs are Obscure: Aftermath and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.  Starting to think I might collect some PSP games...

A Tandyvision One from my Cool Aunt.  Sorry about the blur. It works but I don't have any games for it yet

Another "dumpster-dive" from work, a working 3DFX Voodoo4 4500.  And last but not least...

...  two iPad 2 32GB.  While technically not true "dumpster-dives", they were destined for scrap (due to screen imperfections), so my boss gave an OK for several warehouse folk to get them in a bid to boost morale.  So, they're technically bribes, but they were free, so SCORE!

I don't know much about GameCube or Phantasy Star Online 1 and 2, but I found this for $3, can anyone give me a ballpark figure on value and if it is any good?

PSO on GC is one of the priciest games for the system, used is up over $70 on VGPC.

A lot of people consider it to be the best port of PSO, but its hard to chat unless you get one of the ASCII keyboards, that's irrelevant now since the servers are down. But, and this might be the best thing that any MMO can do, it has single player/split screen support! So you don't need to access servers to play the game, you can either fly solo or get 3 buddies together for a split screen adventure!

This isn't one score, but in fact a collection of several scores over the past few weeks, all from eBay.

FFIX and Fire Emblem are two of the best RPGs ever in my opinion. Great pick ups!!!!!

Hey now,

Found a few things here and there this past week...

Got the following reading material for $0.29 each:

- 4 GameInformer back issues

- July 2010 Edge magazine with original receipt from some place called "Borders:"

It's a Forever 21 now.

- Prima PSX & PS2 Greatest Hits Codebook

- BradyGames Secret Codes for Consoles & handhelds 2007

- Video Game Secrets: this was only available through Scholastic's school book-ordering program... which I didn't know was still a thing. I built up quite a collection of Heathcliff books on the cheap back in the day thanks to that program...

- Rounding out the killed-tree hoard was Prima's Paid to Play: An Insider's Guide to Video Game Careers for $1.95. While I don't plan on pursuing such a career, I figured it would make for some enlightening reading. Not sure how relevant the info contained within is, seeing as how it was published back in '06.

Oh yes, I also picked up some games and accessories:

- CIB PS2 Winter 2002 Jampack, $1.99 $0.99: I', actually starting to buy demos nowadays. Usually I'd avoid them, but for some reason this one seemed interesting enough-- and cheap enough-- to throw onto my PS2 stack.

- Star Wars Rebel Strike: Rogue Squadron III Ltd. Ed. Preview Disc for GameCube, $2.99 $2.39: I probably would've passed this one by if it didn't also include the original Star Wars arcade game. BTW does anybody know if this came with a manual and/or inserts? 'Cuz this one didn't.

- CIB Th3 Plan for PS2, $1.99 $1.39: They replaced the E in "The" with a 3 to make it seem MOAR XTREME and TEH ROXXORZ.

- CIB Big Mutha Truckers fpr GameCube, $0.95

- CIB Dreamfall: The Longest Journey for XBox, $1.95

- CIB Roll Away for PS1, $1.99: Judging from the description, this game is like Marble Madness and Super Monkey Ball.

- First Samurai SNES cart, $1.99

- Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse NES cart, $5.99: a few bucks more than I'd normally pay for a loose NES cart at Goodwill, but I knew it was uncommon enough to fetch a much higher asking price online.

- Cabela's Top Shot Elite light rifle (no scope) for XBox 360, $3.99 $3.19: I don't think the folks at the local Savers knew this was a video game controller. First, it was in the toy section. Second, it was priced much lower than what controllers there usually go for. Now I just hafta see if it'll play nice with my Nerf guns...

- CIB Cube Joy Box adapter, $2.49: I always love finding oddball accessories like this, which allows me to use a PS2 controller for my GameCube.

Whelp, that's about it, kids.

No idea about the inserts, I picked up the same thing at HPB a while back.  At least I thought I did.  They slipped the actual game disc for Rogue Squadron 3 into mine, and not the preview disc.  I didn't notice until after I had tossed the receipt.  Not sure if I should call that a plus or a BOOOOOOO.
