I did a trade with the always excellent Mr. Bickman2k, so now I can proudly boast Lynx ownership.

I got these in the mail from trades with our awesome members.  The Mario DDR is from GrayGhost81. He was nice enough to remember I got the dance pad recently but no game. The rest is from GamerNick.  This is 2 more N64 manuals down, I may piece together a CIB collection yet. Thanks alot to both of you!

Also I have that F-Zero Japanese N64 game and it really is just like the american version. Made of pure awesome!

Your welcome! Anytime!

Welcome to the Lynx club! The Lynx is both wonderful and crappy at the same time Smiley If you're interested in Ninja Gaiden III let me know, I have one just sitting around.

Well, I was tired of dealing with the weight, size, and geometry and convergence issues that come with CRTs, so I bit down and bought this.

...and holy crap is it awesome! Everything I've thrown at it has looked amazing. It's a genuinely CRT-like image, and this is coming from me having most recently been playing on a Mitsubishi RGB monitor.

It's hard to get pictures that really do it justice, but trust me when I say it looks flat out excellent. Expensive, but definitely worth it.

This page has more info and stuff about it:

@Quackula:  That looks incredible.  If I had a bigger TV, I'd seriously consider grabbing one of those.  I'd love to see SNES games look that incredible on a big screen!

It really shines with anything 240p.

Only issues I've had at all so far is that it takes the thing a bit of time to sync up with a signal. Like a good 5-7 seconds. If you turn on, say, Kirby's Adventure, by the time it all syncs up you've missed the whole "drawing kirby" intro.

Luckily this thing just recently came out though and is still receiving regular firmware updates. I expect that issue to be fixed sooner or later.

This is especially nice because it allows me to consolidate all of my consoles, new and old, around one display. I can also use my nice 5.1 system with everything.

Just picked these up on Ebay.  Unlike the American versions of DDR, these are actually worth playing.

2nd and 3rd Mix are still my favorites for DDR - I grew up on a machine that had both.
I think I've got beatmania 3rd Mix...
