I know that most people hate Milon's Secret Castle, but I'm a fan.  Nice pick ups.

Milon's Secret Castle always stumped me as a kid. I would try to explore EVERY SINGLE AREA trying to find out how to progress. Eventually, I picked up a copy of Nintendo Power that gave a map of the game and detailed how to progress where I was stuck. I won't give away the secret for those who haven't played it yet, but it blew my mind as a kid once I figured it out...then I was never able to get past the 2nd floor due to the difficulty at the time. Just got home from a five day vacation to the dutch island Texel. We picked these up at a local game/toy shop.
To our surprise they swapped Crysis 3 for the Crysis 3 Hunter Edition, since my son was the first to buy the game at their store. Smiley

Agree. There were several places that I couldn't advance through without the use of a guide. I always put it into the "frustratingly fun" category.

Hey everyone picked up some more NES games today in part of a trade with Engel for games I gave him last week....Down to about 160 games needed or so.  If anyone wants to sell a bunch I need in bulk let me know as long as the price is right.

Here's a pic!

A few loose carts to add some numbers to the collection, as well as some freebies from a coworker!
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Kid Icarus, Rad Racer (to replace the cart with invincible marker on it), The Adventures of Bayou Billy, Adventures of Lolo, Friday the 13th...

Galaga w/ manual, Rampage w/ manual, Rolling Thunder, Soccer (another black box off my list), and Joshua: The Battle of Jericho.

and lastly... don't laugh...  Some Guitar Hero stuff for PS2, and Evil Dead: Fistful of Boomstick.  While Evil Dead would be something I'd probably buy, Guitar Hero isn't my cup of tea.  But it was free, and I don't say no to free!

Here's a little over a week's worth of pickups.  Some more 2.99 and under titles from Gamestop, on sale games from Best Buy (all pre-owned PSP and PS2 games for 99 cents!), and some other obscure pick-ups.

X360 - Fracture (somehow came with Pal cover art though), Pure, Crackdown, Prince of Persia, Bulletstorm: Epic Edition, Darksiders II: Limited Edition
PS2 - Hitman 2 (game had no UPC, after some research found out that it belongs to the Hitman Trilogy set, which is oddly missing from the database)
PS1 - Tecmo World Cup Golf
PSP - Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce
Supervision - Happy Pairs, Recycle Design, Super Block (expected these to be in better condition, but they're still technically CIB and sealed)
digiBlast - Gormiti: The Masters of the Gorm Island, Cuccioli cerca Amici, Gormiti: Lotta Oscura (double)

Almost forgot.  I bought this from an acquaintance.  I really wanted to buy the Hakko soldering station he had, but he wanted to keep it.  So I ended up with this...  While technically NOT gaming, I will be using it to repair various things like, cart batteries, broken solder, replacing capacitors, and other various things that need poking with a hot pointy stick.  JBC DI 3000 soldering station, AD 8245 sleep stand, 2245 Soldering Iron, and 4 extra tips.

Nice, just bought a Hakko. Got a deal on it through a pinball site multi-buy. Super nice

I'm just glad the damned thing has a sleep mode while it's in the stand.  Helps increase the tip life, which is damned awesome, seeing as the damned things run around 25-30 bucks each.

Fracture's cover is Australian. Makes me wonder if they have a PAL copy, or if the cover was reprinted.

During the week I picked up Rock Band and NFL Gameday at Goodwill.  I've seen the NFL Gameday there mixed in with the cd's for a while and finally just bought it.  The Rock Band was new and had a surprise inside.  When I opened the case, FIFA 07 fell out so I got 2 for 1.

The same friend who gave me the sega games and nomad box and the ddr pads had given me his old c64 stuff.  There were some copy floppies with it, but they just said disk 1, disk 2 etc.   I have never played a c64 and dont even know what all I need to hook it up.

A few more variants that I needed. I was more excited about the Rugrats that I should have been, I thought it was EXTREMELY rare but I've seen copies sell on ebay completed listings for like 4 bucks so I guess it's not. Still, not many grey cart versions that I see compared to black.

I'm getting really close on these variants!

I'd love to find a huge NES lot, but alas just a few thrift and game store stops this week.

Found the retro tape recorder needed to play some Timex Sinclair 1000 games.  Need to get some D Batteries to test it.  A couple of sealed PSP go AV cables for really cheap.  I don't have the console yet, so let me know if you want one.  An original NES-002 power supply was a surprise by itself and worth the $1.  I mention it because I'm curious.  Does anyone else grab spare AV/power cables when found?  I snagged a working NES for $3 but without cables, so now I always check the bins.  And then a buddy recently found the sought after Gamecube component cable in a bin for $2 and sold it for $100.

I love handhelds and any priced less than a buck will immediately get my attention.  I suspect a certain member will focus in on Optimus.  For PC game wants, the original Oregon Trail was high on my list, so a Windows re-release was great to find.  I hope I don't get Dysentery.   slick

The quality of the cover seems legit, and the game itself is definitely NTSC.  I'm thinking someone bought the thing online, but that still leaves the question of how the two were coupled lol
