Books. Lots and lots of hardcover books...

Books you say?

Quarterly clearance sale. Picked up ~8 Forgotten Realms hardcover books, some Stephen King hardcover books, ~6 Star Wars hardcover books, a couple Call of Cthulhu reference books (D20), a Star Wars RPG (Revised) book, and a few paperbacks. Came out to ~$100 since it was 50% off, though my wife realized we probably should've picked up more Stephen King books after we saw what it came out to.

The nice thing though is that it finally forced us to put up the bookshelf I bought back in November to match the other bookshelf in the room. We split out the bookshelves into Margaret Weis/Tracy Hickman books (which took up 4 shelves), Stephen King (which took up another shelf), and a few large hardcover books into the one shelf. The middle shelf now has Forgotten Realms (3 shelves) and Star Wars (3 shelves). The last double shelf has random books on one side, and the other side is my game-inspired books. Since it was requested previously in another thread, I'll try to get a photo of it later. It has Mass Effect, White Wolf, Magic: The Gathering, Blizzard and various other game-related books on it (and these are all novels, not reference books).

First pickup in a while. No keyboard to go with it, but I guess it's still kinda hard to come by. only $8, which isn't too bad.

I got some SNES and Game Gear games at Vintage Stock while I was in Topeka on business. Then I got a few boxed 7800 games at Half Price Books here in Omaha.

Also, PWPCody is no more, now my username is the same as it is everywhere else. I left the avatar the same so people dont get confused!

Nice, I've got most of the older Stephen King novels, haven't picked up many of the newer ones though.  and I need to start keeping my eyes open at HPB for more Blizzard stuff, picked up The Shattering: Prelude to Cataclysm there a while back.  I've also picked up some Warcraft manga there too, fun stuff.  I keep hoping to run across some more of the Eve Online novels there also, decent Sci-Fi stuff.  Hell, I could spend hours in HPB browsing.

I once made the mistake of smelling a NES cart.  Man, the last guy that blew in it must have had bad breath, because it smelled like a sack full of assholes.

Those are some nice looking complete NES game, Johnny.

I had a decent day at the thrift stores. Scored a Megaman X 4, and Frizzle Fry by Primus.
