Looking for CIB NES games..........even Silent Service.
I once made the mistake of smelling a NES cart.  Man, the last guy that blew in it must have had bad breath, because it smelled like a sack full of assholes.

Good week so far....

Picked up the Cliffhanger for a good price on eBay and found the CIB (no styro Sad ) Blades of Steel Classic Series variant from my local retro store today.  I went through a pile of NES games the owner purchased today and this was in there.  He didn't realize it was the Classic Series variant.  I was honest and told him about it, and he gave me a good deal on it in return. I could be persuaded to part with the box and manual if any of you CIB NES collectors are interested.

Next up is a large 2600 53 game lot I snipped off of eBay:

You'll notice several rare and uncommon titles in this lot. Some of which include Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Smurfs Save the Day. Smiley  I'm keeping 9 or so titles and replacing my current copies with better looking ones.  However, as a means of raising more money for RFGeneration, I will be putting much of this lot on Game Gavel.  I plan on donating 30% of the final bid amount to the site, so bid heavy.  More details to come in the FS/FT thread soon, including a list of the games that will be for sale and the auction beginning and end dates. Also, I have requested that this auction may be mentioned on the next Collector Cast.  If you are looking to start out your 2600 collecting with a nice Atari lot, this is the one.

Lots of good titles in there, Rich. I have a feeling I know which ones you're keeping/replacing, which are the same ones I need. Tongue

I am keeping Texas Chainsaw, Smurfs, Marine Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark (its the label variant), Karate, Slot Machine, Off the Wall, Hangman, BMX Air Master, Crash Dive, Atari Video Cube, and Math Grand Prix.

There will still be some great very uncommon titles in there including: Cosmic Commuter, King Kong, No Escape!, Fathom, Kung Fu Master, etc.

No sir.  Looks like the requester hasn't been on the boards since Jan 18th, so It's looking like I need to find another recipient.

Went to a local comics and collectables shop with GamerNick the other morning after work.  I picked up a copy of Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance (GC), a random Sonic the Hedgehog comic that caught my eye when I was wandering past a stack, and  Game Boy Player... since I managed to totally miss the end of Izret's auction on Game Gavel and lost that one.

I believe I have King Kong and No Escape!. I think I'm missing the rest, along with Krull, Mr. Do!, Pigs in Space, and maybe one of the SpectraVideo ones there.

Nice grab on that Game Boy Player, Engel.  My set is missing the disc sleeve.  I still play GB and GBA games on the cube once in a while.
