It's funny I found 3 different models of the CDI in about a 2 month period about 6-7 years ago.  And have never found another one since.

Hooray, a bunch of shit no one cares about!  I've really got to start looking at my thrift finds a bit closer.  When I got home I realized that Rome:  Total War was missing the 3rd disc and the NBA Shootout game was the most mis-matched thing ever.  It had the manual for NBA Shootout 2001, the disc for NBA Shootout 2000 and the insert for NCAA Final Four 2000.  Anybody need any of that?

Edit:  God damn it.  I also bought Alice in Wonderland on DVD for my wife and I just looked at it.  The bonus disc is there, but not the movie disc.  There's another $3 down the tube.

Picked up Ni no Kuni the other day, now if I could just find a strategy guide that didn't cost nearly as much as the damned game!  Roll Eyes

I was at a close friend's house today. He knows I'm playing Persona 3 like it's my job and he also knows I've always had my eye on these in his collection. I reminded him today to please never get rid of them without warning me first.

So being a very kind human being he told me I could take them, as a friendly gift.

These are always the best kinds of pieces to have in a collection IMHO. The one's you've been looking for forever that someone gives to you just because he's awesome. I will cherish them forever Smiley

I was super busy most of January but it didn't stop me from picking these up:

After some TLC it turned into:

That was $200.  Didn't come with a game but I already have some. The player one joystick and a few buttons didn't work originally because they were super dirty. I cleaned them all up and they worked ok but were just a little lose for my liking. Since this picture I've replaced the control panel with a brand new one. Now everything is nice and tight. Monitor is mint.  The wiring is a hack job but works. I may replace the wiring if I have any problems

When I picked it up I was offered this for $100 delivered:

Monitor is shot but everything else works. Buttons have seen better days. Came with a working NAOMI setup with Virtua Strikers 2. Once it gets warmer I'm going to look into the monitor but I think it'll be either a fuse or some damaged capacitors.

The white cab is now in my game room but the black one is in my parents garage because I have to make room for it.

Very nice cabs! Although, it looks like your buttons are mismatched on the white control board there.

First off, we'll start with the Strategy Guides. The trip was worth it just for the N64 guides, which are two of my favorites games. Pretty sure the Warcraft II Battle.net and Fable II are duplicates, if anyone's interested. My wife and I are going to sort through and document all of our strategy guides and books soon:

Next up, we have a special treat. I don't normally pick these up, but most of them are sets I collected as a kid. They're mostly Marvel cards from 1992-1994. If anyone's interested in any of the cards, feel free to shoot me a PM. However, I found a special treat for one of our forum members, should he decide he wants them:

Needed a new headset. Damaged stock from Target:

Gift for my roommate:

Last but not least, the book haul. Not much this time:

Everything from a Goodwill store, for less than $50.

I will be astonished if that headset works.
I have one and since the mouth piece is literally still on your ear when you talk no one can hear a fucking thing you say. Waste of 15 or 20$s or whatever it cost me.

If the Kombat cards are being thrown into the "mail-to-izret-pile" i am certainly happy to take them off your hands Wink
If they are getting thrown into the "sell-to-izret-pile" i'll have to see if i have a full set already since Antimind sent me a shitload of different gaming cards years ago.
