It might just be my Nintendo Fanboyism, but Nintendo Power was the best gaming magazine.  I haven't posted anything in a few weeks, so here are two recent games I got from someone on NintendoAge.  By the way, what Konami silver box games am I missing?  I have Goonies II, Track and Field, Bayou Billy, and Gradius.  Oh crap!  I forgot all about the Castlevania series.

Just from what I have there's Stinger, Life Force, and Rush'n Attack.

There's a full list here among other places. http://timewarpgamer.com/...s/box_art_nes_konami.html

I think that game is a bit of a different beast. Didn't it come in a larger than normal box with a book packaged in?

I haven't been out looking for games much lately. The garage sales are pretty much nonexistent this time of year. We've been to a few thrift stores but have been too busy for much of that.

Even with that, one way or another game stuff does show up at my house.

Red Alert 3 was $3. This is a game I actually want to play. The box says, "Internet connection required for product activation." I didn't notice that until I brought it home, who knows if it's going to work or tell me someone else has this game? Stupid gaming in the future.

Wish I had more time to have Command & Conquer lan battles....

Aparently Mt Dew is promoting Halo 4. Added this can to my small collection of cans and bottles I think are neat for one reason or another.

Nimble Number Ned! Got it off of ebay for $14ish with shipping. It is in great condition and sealed, I'm going to open it though.

This is the last Odyssey^2 game I was searching for. There are two more to complete my set but they sell for so much I doubt I will get them anytime soon. I'm just not willing to spend around $140 on the last two games when I didn't spend that much on the whole rest of the collection.

Of course I will keep an eye out for the last two (Power Lords! and Atlantis) but unless they show up at a garage sale or something I've gotten as much as I need for the US set of O^2 games.

I still am looking for a good price on "The Voice" and I will passively hunt down some boxes and manuals I need. There are a few variations I might get too.

I'm pretty happy though getting this game. I know it's kinda whimpy of me to not want those last two but I'm okay with it.

Yeah, it did come with a book, maybe an encyclopedia?  Yeah I would count it with the set too.  Are there any Konami Games that didn't have silver boxes for NES?  I know ZEN: Intergalactic Ninja is blue, and maybe Monster in my Pocket is a different color.

I have it, but through Steam.  Considering just how bass-ackwards EA has been over the past eight years I'd say you would need the Internet.  Unless it is for the Warhammer item listed on the box.

Just pay attention to auctions for Atlantis on Ebay.  I eventually got my copy for right around $20, so it just takes some patience.  Granted that was like 5 years ago, but still.  Power Lords however is a hope and pray game.  That's one of those games where unless you get really lucky, you'll just have to bite the bullet and fire away.

Just got a package in the mail from Zagnorch. We did a trade a couple of weeks back and I thought I was only getting two things:
*Animal Crossing DS
*How To Draw: Legend of Zelda
BUT
He threw in three back issues of Nintendo Power that I don't have!! Thank you SO Much Zag! I hope we can do some more trades down the road!  If you get anymore NP's let me know!

Here's the Package:

Thanks again Zag!

Does that Bugs Bunny one include the Super Metroid poster by any chance?

Yes it does it even has the trading cards.

Will do.

Sadly, second-hand back issues of Nintendo Power have been nonexistent at the thrifts I usually find them at. I do, however, come across the occasional lot of other gaming mags...

Indeed it does, still attached and everything.

If I recall correctly, the reverse side features a walkthrough of some Inspector Gadget game...

Ill take back issues of any gaming magazine I just like looking at and reading the articles.  One of the 1999 issues has the poster and information on O.D.T.  On n64 and it never came out on that system so I thought that was pretty awesome.

I tried, briefly, looking into that Warhammer sticker to see if it was a variation I could add. Seems like a version came out with the same upc that did not have the sticker but I'm not sure.

Having the internet isn't a huge problem, after all I do have internet access. The problem would be if that particular copy is locked out from someone else already having used it. I guess I'll find out. I don't have to worry about this with NES games  Tongue

You're right, Atlantis is a possibility. It kinda varies in price more than the others. If I found it for $20 I would buy it, and it does seem like the price was at the high end lately. I do try and make a point of searching the Atlantis' for other systems, hoping to find a mislabeled auction. Atlantis on the Atari is only about $1  Cheesy   I'm not holding out too much hope for buying it anytime soon though.

I remember reading about ODT and being pretty psyched for it back in like Junior High.

Pretty excited to find these two, I remember playing them when I was a kid. Need to track down a 2600 console so I can fire them up.

Been playing a few of the Castlevania games recently and thought I would give it a try.

Now all I need to do is free up some time for Ni No Kuni and I'll be set.  slick
