I'm only one or a couple away from a complete set I should be part of that club haha
I have about 15 to go, and theyre getting more expensive from here.
My Value Village has really been paying out lately. It also had two Dreamcasts with two controllers WITH memory cards each for $5.99. I'm gonna regret not picking those up
Man, I wish the local Value Villages-- which are called Savers where i live-- sold complete or near-complete consoles for that little. They'll usually separate the hookups from the console itself, and sell everything separately. Only rarely will I see a bare console go for less than $9.99...

I want to live wherever Zag is. It's like video game candy land at his thrifts.
It's more pot luck, really. It's just that my area boasts a ton of thrifts; I'll hit up to six on the way home from work. With the sheer numbers at my disposal, I'm bound to find something every so often...

Bil and I can be the Super 32X Bros.
Which game allows you to be in the 32X Bros Club? There has to be standards. Is it Knuckles Chaotix or World Series Baseball?
Isn't it obvious?
You need a copy of
Zaxxon's MotherBase 2000
.
Which means I can put in my application right away.
That's just makes the club seem cheap, with a $20 spent requirement.
Just because you submit an application, it doesn't mean they'll let you in. There's still the interview process to see if you meet the outfit's very strict and stringent standards.
And then there's the hazing ceremony...
Yeah, I went thought the hazing of US Army 18th Airborne Corps. I think I'm okay.

And finally, Chaotic from goozex and Persona 4 from VGfive. Especially happy about P4 as I am playing Persona 3 right now and slowly realizing that it is one of the best games I have ever played!
That's how I felt when I was playing Persona 3. And then I played P4 and it blew P3 out of the water. Nice pick up! Super amazing game. Persona 4 Arena is a really cool spin off too if you're looking for more Persona action when you're done with both games.

Picked up a few more things at CD Tradepost before the buy 5 get 5 sale ends. Rad Racer (with some apparently invincible ink on it 90% alcohol and Goo Gone hardly made a dent), Rad Racer II, and Xexyz for NES. Drakengard, Mortal Kombat: Deception, Destroy All Humans, and GTA: Liberty City Stories on the PS2, Sled Storm on PS1 for shits and giggles, Final Fantasy Legend III (rerelease) for Gameboy, and The Adventures of Link on GBA. I also picked up a weirdo Target edition GBA because it struck me funny.

XEXYZ isn't bad. A little repetitive, but worth playing through.

I thought it was kind of weird/neat, I'd never seen one before. Snooped around on my phone a little to see what it was, and not much came up about it besides it was sold at Target stores in 2002-ish.

Hard to believe P4 can be much better than P3, but that is the word on the street. There is really nothing to complain about here. I love when a game comes along like this. Can't believe I took so long to get around to playing it!

It was released Holiday 2001. They also did a Lime Green color for Holiday 2003, and a Grape color for another time period.

My local library has a book sale every Saturday and my wife and I went today. I found a few things. Nothing really exciting.

Does that Bugs Bunny one include the Super Metroid poster by any chance?

Will do.
Sadly, second-hand back issues of
Nintendo Power
have been nonexistent at the thrifts I usually find them at. I do, however, come across the occasional lot of other gaming mags...

Indeed it does, still attached and everything.
If I recall correctly, the reverse side features a walkthrough of some
Inspector Gadget
game...

It might just be my Nintendo Fanboyism, but Nintendo Power was the best gaming magazine. I haven't posted anything in a few weeks, so here are two recent games I got from someone on NintendoAge. By the way, what Konami silver box games am I missing? I have Goonies II, Track and Field, Bayou Billy, and Gradius. Oh crap! I forgot all about the Castlevania series.

I once made the mistake of smelling a NES cart. Man, the last guy that blew in it must have had bad breath, because it smelled like a sack full of assholes.
