The paperwork looks like it's never been touched.

I was inspired by Retrorage's post, and decided to find a copy of Metal Storm.  Today, I found this, and I got it for a pretty good price.  It is in awesome condition, the  only thing that is wrong with it is that the ad poster has a crease in it. Mine however did not come with a funny message scribbled on the back the cart.

@johnny nintendo I think for now, I am going to bask in the glory of this find. This was one of my favorite games as a kid, so I do have nostalgia value attached to this as well, so I am not going to trade this right now. Maybe down the road a bit?

Thanks for the offer, though! : )

Atari variants are a terrifying realm to go into.  There were so many releases of games that were even slightly popular it is ridiculous.  Hell, I think I have something like 4 or 5 different label variations for Space Invaders alone.
Even unpopular ones like Pac-Man and ET have several variations.
Most Atari variants are pretty simple once you can actually look at scans and see the differences a couple times.

For me the hard ones to remember are the publisher variants, like when one game was published by Activision, then again by Sears.

I needed a gamepad to use on my laptop, so I grabbed this for $8 at a pawnshop, I really like the color:(link because it embeds huge and I don't know the code the re-size it)

No, problem.  I know what you mean about nostalgic/sentimental value.  I have a few games that I got for a steal, that I could turn around and sell for 50x what I paid, but I just can't part with.
