First score of the year! I responded to an ad on Craigslist for three boxed/complete Super Famicom games for $10. The guy said he had more stuff and would bring them when we met up for the Super Famicom games. I ended up buying everything he had.

One of the Mysts are sealed (and yes, they are different variants, yay!), Sky Runner is also sealed. Nearly all the boxed games are complete with all kinds of maps, books, ads and all that stuff. For those who don't recognize the odd carts, the yellow ones are Fairchild Channel F, the little ones next to them are C64, and next to those are TRS-80 carts. Barring any variants I haven't looked up yet, only the two 2600 games on the far left are new for me. I told the guy I didn't want the others, but he said I could have them, so I'll be passing them along.
Grand total for everything: $60
Seems like there have been a lot of great PC finds lately. I think I'm... yes apparently I'm tearing up. *sniff*

Wow, I thought I'd be the first one to say that. I have no complaints about FF 13. Great game. I'm going to alienate myself here and say I enjoyed it more than VII.
I'm glad I'm not the only person that thought FFXIII was amazing. Fine with me if people hate it, it made it a lot cheaper for me to buy and enjoy this amazing game.

Ok, let me add Slowman and Noiseredux into my list of cool people.
Got myself one step closer to one of my collecting goals... one more RPG to add to the list. That brings me to 40% of my 2013 PS2 goal.

For an extra 25 the guy threw in:
NES Control Deck - Kinda sorta CIB... Was excited til i opened it up and saw how yellowed the system and controllers were. Also does not have SMB cart, rfswitch and has an aftermarket power supply and i think the 72pin connectors is locked in place.
Deadly Towers - cart only

I love the NES box, the consoles are a dime a dozen and easily repaired.
It doesn't sound you did too bad if you're intention is to resell some of those consoles. You can tell if it is a light or heavy sixer by the curves on the front. Heavy sixer's are much more curved:

Thanks for the info Duke
I edited right before you posted.
One of the other things i saw mentioned was the "lip" that goes around the top of the system. Mine is considerably thinner than the one pictured so that was the give away for me.
I'm definitely going to try and resell it all but i am more concerned with breaking even than i was when i grabbed it.
NES Box looks mint from dead on but it is actually in fair/good condition. one of the side flaps is torn and the back has some damage.
I also need to jump on AA and ask about the variants i have they they don't seem to have in their DB.
EDIT
Just realized river raid looks wrong because the label was placed upsidedown.
Still looking into the copywrite info for Realsports Baseball

Seems like alot of stuff for 50. I don't think you did to bad either. And if you can clean up/repair the systems to working condition. You can make some good money on this lot. I love finding lots like these.
I JUST missed out on a NES system w/ 40 games for 40 bucks on craigslist. That would have been my second one in a week. He told me someone just called him 2 minutes before I did and was on his way to get it.

I once got a beautifully working NES, with controller, Arcade Stick, hook-ups, and 35 pretty good games for $5.

i thought FFXIII was awesome too. my only experience is with the original on NES and then XIII, so i don't have much to go by for judgement, but linear or not i still really liked it. and i thought the story was pretty good, the characters could've been developed a little more but they did pretty good with getting an emotional attachment to at least some of them.
and i agree with everyone about izret's score, i think you did pretty well.

I`d been staring at a copy of Dragon Warrior 4 at my local store for the better part of the last 3 months and today, I decided to finally pull the trigger. Unfortunately, the guy sold it earlier in the week. It put a damper on my shopping but I still got a loose copy of Kickle Cubicle on the NES and a copy of Psychosis (w/ case and manual) for the TurboGrafx-16.

Atari variants are a terrifying realm to go into. There were
so
many releases of games that were even slightly popular it is ridiculous. Hell, I think I have something like 4 or 5 different label variations for Space Invaders alone.
