I once made the mistake of smelling a NES cart.  Man, the last guy that blew in it must have had bad breath, because it smelled like a sack full of assholes.

Thanks! Yeah I had to look up hero and wabbit I couldn't remember how rare they were and this is the first time I have seen the silver label space invaders.

Yeah, I'd say that the only very common game you have there is Kangaroo.  Again, solid pick up for....gas??? (see blog)

Yeah instead of charging bill for gas he usually picks me up some cheap priced games which I can never really thank him enough he is a good person to go game finding with he knows a lot about games and he usually finds some good stuff!

I hate driving around Omaha when we go scrounging for games, so Nick taxis my ass around, and in return for saving me the headache I buy him some cheap stuff, ie: 95 cent atari carts or other assorted goodies.

I got this stuff from Goodwill, the Plug n Play was $3.99, and the Angry Birds things were $0.69 for the set.

Oddly enough, the Joystick is such a obscure "flea-market special" I can't find much on it.

Beat that!  lol

Now you can make a Wii out of two 'ducktaped Gamecubes'.

Nice pick up!

A bit of good luck thrifting this week. $1 each game. Excellent condition Sega CD cases.

Started my inventory by getting my NES collection inventoried (I'll post a blog in a bit) but now I know which of the commons I just assumed that I have so I can start picking them up instead of passing them over.

First post to the small score thread:

Went down to my local record store Sunday to browse for some vinyl and I see someone had sold the shop a whole bunch of Intellivision and Sega Master System games mostly complete-in-box (with most of the INTV having the proper overlays). There were priced at $2 to $3 a pop. I picked up a few that day and went back tonight to grab a whole bunch more:

As you can see they also had some NES and I needed Mike Tyson's Punch-Out! However it was priced at what I expected to pay ($20). And I needed to pick up Iron Sword: Wizards & Warriors II because, you know, Fabio.

Not including the NES carts, I paid about $50 for the lot. Not sure how great that is but I don't just stumble across Intellivision or SMS carts unless at a game store.

They still have some more stuff I may pick next week. I don't think it's going anywhere- that store doesn't typically cater to the retro game collector.

Nice haul man!  $50 isn't bad for all of that.
