longboxes are really nice looking, but they take up room FAST. My SCD and Sat shelves are getting filled rapidly even though I have less of them than Dreamcast games.

Oh, and for the CollectorCast guys, I found the 1999 re-release of Mr Mouth with the frog to keep at the office for the girls, so I could bring mine back home.  I can't believe how much discussion the game got, but everyone should have a Mr Mouth set sitting with their Monopoly and Risk.

It was kind of interesting, but being the old fart on the show I had to school these young 'uns on the cool toys of my younger years. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

Nice grabs there, Bil. Bloodlines is pretty good.

Finally got my copy of the final Nintendo Power I ordered direct from Future a while back. It's the nice subscriber copy with no barcode, and they sent it inside another envelope so it is in fantastic shape.

I like the mushroom/star/ flower design on that.  I have something similar set as my background on my phone.  Hey Bil, 1942 does have state of the art high resolution graphics.  All kidding aside, I really like that grid design Capcom used early on.

I once made the mistake of smelling a NES cart.  Man, the last guy that blew in it must have had bad breath, because it smelled like a sack full of assholes.

Photobucket won't let me log in for some reason so sadly there is no picture this time Sad

Finally got together with a guy I've been emailing for a while and picked up a CIB copy of Indy Heat from him. That gets me to 590 licensed NES games!!

EDIT: Finally got into photobucket

Mmm, long boxes.  I have no idea what I'm going to do when I start getting more Saturn and PS1 long box games.  Buy another bookshelf I suppose...

For my long boxes, odd sizes, and the super cool (like Gizmondo and Zodiac games), I mounted a shelving system on the wall above my 6-drawer game dresser.  It saves on another piece of furniture and they really stand out.

Another bookshelf is ideal but finding a spot for it is another chore.

I have all my sega cd and Saturn games in a shelved cabinet that is pretty wide and if I wanted to I could put a row in front of a row but eh that means no showing off and digging but they all fit in there for now. But as for my ps1 I don't have that many yet but they fit on my DVD rack since I made room for them.

This summer I started making my own custom shelving, and if you have the means, I would highly suggest doing that.  It takes a while if you're using MDF like I am, but it is so worth it to have shelves that are exactly what you need.

There was a bit of talk about Journey in one the threads here so I decided to pick it up.

Also bought another "Crabby Pick": Shiren the Wanderer.

Hmm... These games look good on my Oriental kilim. Very appropriate for Journey Wink

Hey everyone so I did a little more shopping today by myself and at one point with my brother.  I picked up some more nice long box PS1 Games but not the Long Jewel Case kind but the original kind.  SO here are the pictures and I will be working on my blog today so check back later for all the Game Hunting information.

I'm not a Sega or PlayStation collector, but I picked these up for $1 each today.  Both Genesis games are missing the manuals, and Legend of Dragoon is missing the third disc.  Also, Metal Gear Solid looks like someone reprinted the insert and stuck it in a double DVD case.  The game gear game is Surf Ninjas.  If anyone is interested, these will be for sale or trade towards any NES or Nintendo stuff.
