Some Sega love today. Finally got myself a boxed Phantasy Star II, it has the manual and map. I have a spare loose copy now that will be up for sale or trade. Been wanting more Master System games so I bought a couple $5 completes. Loose Castlevania is there for when I want to torture people.

EDIT: I flipped this before I posted it... piece of crap.

Now its fixed.

And now its not. WTF?

This must be why I stopped using Photobucket. I should go clean up my free imgur account.

This picture is flip flopping faster than Mitt Romney during the campaign.

I'm not looking forward to it.

The copy of Time Soldiers has a very minty poster in it that I want to frame.

Edit: Seriously this poster is so awesome.

+1 for Mr. Reynolds.

Just got back from EB Games. Picked up another one of Crabby's recommendations, Opoona. Also got a game that I've debating about for a while, 3D Dot Game Heroes which has two bilingual manuals for some reason.

Oh man, 3D Dot Game Heroes is so freakin good. Play that one as soon as you get the chance.

I don't know if this counts as a 'score' because I found it in an old box, but it's still pretty cool:

It's not in great shape but it is intact. I don't collect manuals, so if someone is interested in this...

I had to take my daughter to the pediatricians today and stopped by a thrift store after we were done.  Got these for $4

Found in old box scores are the best. And that manual looks so awesome! My inner RPG geek is jealous.

Oh man, 3D Dot Game Heroes is so freakin good. Play that one as soon as you get the chance.

As soon as I finish The Last Story I'm gonna play this.

Hey now!

As in new years past, January 2nd has proven a fruitful date for Goodwill pickups. All those last-minute donations from the previous year are hitting the shelves with a vengeance!

Today's post-work crawl yielded the following:

A $3.99 grab bag of five GBA carts:

- Super Mario Advance

- Super Mario World

- Super Street Fighter II Turbo Revival

- Disney Princess Royal Adventure: betcha can't guess who I'm sending this one to.

- Bootleg of LoZ: The Minish Cap: After hearing Dukey, Crabs, and William discussing the ethical issues surrounding emulation and piracy, I feel kinda guilty for having this.

Another bag of the following GBA carts set me back $5.99:

- NES Classics: Super Mario Bros. What, yet another version of SMB for my collection? Hey, why not.

- Breath of Fire

- Yu-Gi-Oh DungeonDice Monsters

Other stuff:

- Streets of Rage Game Gear cart, $1.99

- Sonic Drift 2 Game Gear cart, $1.99

- CIB Second Sight for GameCube, $3.49

- CIB Samurai Warriors for PS2, $3.99

- CIB Summoner for PS2, $3.99: I picked this up on behalf of a fellow RFGentleman who wanted me to "keep an eye out" for it on his behalf.

- CIB MadCatz Arcade GameStick for XBox Live Arcade, $5.99

Topping things off, I came home to find the final ish of Nintendo Power I bought from Techie413. He even threw in a Mario Kart Super Circuit manual, Game Boy safety booklet, and Nintendo Power subscription card for some reason.

Whelp, that's it for today. Who knows what tomorrow will bring?

I picked up enough games to keep me busy for a while: (I already had the TEST PS2 but it is now complete thanks to Izret) [Thanks to Duke for the Famicom games]

I've never seen, or heard of, a Test PS2. What makes it different from the regular PS2?
