^ I've got a Master System, Genesis, Game Gear, 32X, Saturn and now a Dreamcast. I feel complete as a Sega guy. I've been wanting to get a Dreamcast for too long. Now I got to find me Skies of Arcadia for the Dreamcast.

Edit: Guess I still need a Sega CD, that will come with time.

O^2 stuff! That looks like the sort of collecting I've been doing lately.

I just found out yesterday, from a mistake in shipping from an ebay seller, there is at least one cartridge label variation for Out of This World!

Nice.  You'll have to add it to the database.  My buddy has the entire O^2 licensed collection and a lot of rare homebrews, but it would be interesting to find him something he doesn't have.

I'll be working on that project sometime here. I've been finding several label variations that nobody mentions. I don't think they are rare, and the variations aren't big, one will say something like, "assembled in usa" or "assembled in mexico" while another won't mention where it was made.

Last I checked the db just mentions one O^2 game with a variation, that one is much more obvious than the others I've been seeing. I haven't noticed any variations on the boxes or manuals but didn't think to look for that until this week.

I'll probably start posting and submitting things on this before the end of the year, I'm nearly done with the US licensed set myself and am just waiting on a couple more things to switch gears and work on this project.

Hehe Izret, that really slipped my mind. I have some games for it but I need the system to play them on. It's a very obscure thing. Good call.

I've been hunting around for a Master System and Dreamcast too. They both keep eluding me. Master Systems regularly show up in charity auctions but end up selling for more than I'm willing to pay, and I traded in a poor condition Dreamcast (that I got ripped off on) to do my Secret Santa shopping.

Oh well, one the day this former Sega Kid will fulfill his dreams.

Wait... you haven't had a Dreamcast until now?

Poser.

Or should I say: Faker.  Tongue

Anyhewz, time for me to divulge my latest batch of small scores.

- Worms: Open Warfare 2 (CIB) PSP, $3.99

- Gauntlet Legends (CIB) for PS1 and Resident Evil 4 GameCube preview disc with case, $3.49: does anybody know if the RE4 preview disc comes with a proper manual? All mine has is a health and safety precautions booklet.

- Paper Mario cartridge with manual, Super Smash Bros. manual, and N64 storage case, $3.99

And we mustn't overlook the CIB Target salvage items:

- Super Mario Bros. U $15.99

- Paper Mario Sticker Star $18.99

- Mario Tennis Open $18.99: I wasn't too keen on adding this to my collection until I saw a gameplay trailer at a local Best Buy.

- Energizer Wii Remote charging station $9.99

Also, my 2013 Club Nintendo desk calendar came in today.

To top it all off, I received a bit o' firepower from the Narutoman:

The main event-- a complete Recon CS-6 in excellent condition-- with red-dot "laser" sight:

I guess ol' Ixy felt that he lacked the sheer machismo to keep such a powerful armament around his place, so he decided to ship it to a real manly man who knows how to handle tough situations and get the job done...

...but then changed his mind at the last minute, and sent it to me instead.

Thanks for tryin' to help me butch up, there. I just hope you enjoy the little "extra" I mailed with your Holiday Give-Away claim...

I can credit WiiWare downloads of SMB and River City Ransom for re-sparking my interest in gaming and game collecting, but I feel like tonight I truly pulled onto the current generation gamer highway:

The XBOX 360 Holiday 2012 Bundle from the Play 'n' Trade.  I've been considering which system - PS3 or XBox 360 - I wanted to delve into literally since E3, so it definitely cannot be called a splurge buy.  But I made my decision tonight.  I told my favorite PnT employee that he needed to recommend a good game to start with, besides the pack-ins, so I got Left4Dead for free.  Paid <$10 for Blood Omen 2, Lost Planet, and Galaxy 5000.

But I wanted accessories:

At Fred Meyer, the wireless headset was 10% off.  Street Fighter X SE was marked down from $70 to $35, so I had to snag that last copy they had.  They also had the Halo Reach SE marked down significantly if someone can give the thumbs up or down.

Then I got home and found a couple of packages at the step.  One was my order from videogameboxprotectors.com, which I spent tonight distributing throughout the game collection.  Great site, folks!  The other package was my 2012 X-Mas carts from RetroZone (http://www.retrousb.com):

You had a choice between the two. You had to sign in to club nintendo before the end of July I think it was and let them know which of the two you'd prefer.
