Things started out a bit slowly today, as I picked up:

- Cobalt GBA SP unit, $9.99

- CIB Contact for DS, $5.99 $4.99 with coupon

- CIB Phantasy Star Online version 2 for Dreamcast, $2.49: This is my first DC pickup in months. Maybe Noiseredux will start talking to me again...  :'(

And now, for those who are here from the Collection Milestones thread to find out the winner of my "Race to the Century Mark" between my XBox and PS1 collections:

Early in my thrift-crawl, I managed to grab three CIB XBox titles...

- Panzer Dragoon Orta, $2.99

- Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II, $2.99

- Namco Museum, $0.95

...putting my XBox stack at 91 titles.

But on my last stop of the day, I found the following CIB PS1 games for $1.99 each...

- Pitfall 3D: Beyond the Jungle

- Xena Warrior Princess

- Sentinel Returns

- Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation

- Tomb Raider II
(Greatest Hits)

- Tomb Raider III (Greatest Hits)

...putting my PS1 stack over the top, and into three-figure territory.   party

Great pick ups Zag I still need to pick up Phantasy Star on Dreamcast

@niceguy1283: I found it in a thrift shop for $5.00 last year. It's a great game. Anyone who hasn't played it should put it on their to do list. I have Izret to thank for the organization. After seeing his audit collection thread I decided to audit my collection as well. Finding space for big box PC games is tough. I barely have room for what I have.

@KidA: Thanks. There aren't that many PSP collectors around. I have spent countless hours on mine playing JRPGs like BOF3, Final Fantasy 2, and the Legend of Heroes series.

@wildbil52:  Blade Runner was a game I had heard of but never tried until last year. I'm glad I found a copy.  As Niceguy1283 stated Big Box PC games are a pain to find space for. I may have to clear the top of the bookcase to make room for some more.

@Zagnorch: Baldur's Gate 2 and Panzer Dragoon Orta are great games. Especially for the price you paid.

I'll keep my eyes out at thrift stores and HPB. Hopefully I'll run across one just like we both have Indiana Jones and The Fate Atlantis Tongue

Magnavox Odyssey games....

WHOA! That box art is so awesome! Kinda reminds me of the Stargate in 2001: Space Odyssey.

Well, well... This box of goodies just showed up at my door. Johnny Nintendo, thank you so much!

I got my Tuesday hot-hand groove back today-- with a vengeance.

My first thrift stop produced the following CIB titles for $25:

- Jet Set Radio Future (XBox)

- Final Fantasy VII Greatest Hits (PS1)

- Personal Trainer: Walking (DS)

- Invizimals Shadow Zone w/ PSP camera bundle (sealed)

The GBA SP I picked up the other day ended up not working right, so I managed to do an even exchange for the following CIB PSP titles:

- Little big Planet

- Loco Roco

I then hit a Toys-R-Us and took advantage of their buy-one-get-one-50%-off deal, and with a little gift card credit, ended up paying around $7.00 for:

- Alien Syndrome (Wii)

- Centipede Infestation (3DS)

Then came the mother lode at my final stop of the day, which included the following CIB PS1 titles for $1.99 each:

- Colony Wars

- Colony Wars III: Red Sun

- Area 51

- Sorceror's Maze

I've been picking up so many PS1 games lately, it's threatening to overtake my PS2 as the system in my collection with the most titles.

Not to be outdone, I picked up the following CIB PS2 games for $3.49 a pop:

- Xenosaga II

- Viewtiful Joe 2

I topped this haul off with a MadCatz PS1&2-compatible Blaster light gun for $4.99. While I have several light guns for my PlayStations, I just liked the look of this one.

But just when I thought it was over, I came home and found a package of swag I ordered off of Amazon, all for about $32 shipped:

- Skylanders Giants Hot Head figure

- Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance (3DS)

- Alien Syndrome (PSP)

- Hori Precision Screen Filter for the Wii U Game Pad: this is definitely THE screen protector to get for your Wii U Game Pad! It may be pricier, but it's worth the extra shekels!

Damn Mr. Norch, the killer finds just don't stop with you lately... But isn't there supposed to be a DS? I'm not used to seeing any of your pickups without a DS as of lately.

Lousy weddings.

I'm thinking about going to Value Village and picking up a cheap sports game just to keep the addiction at bay.

I had car troubles that drained my finances, but I still hit the flea market last weekend with friends. Even though I don't collect classic PC games at all, I found a CIB Lord of the Rings game from the early 90's with a $2 price tag on it. I picked it up and a woman decided she wanted to sell me on it. I had $1.85 in my pocket and told her that if she could accept it, it was a done deal (she later bragged that she sold "that movie" to someone)... It really doesn't fit my collection, but it kinda looks cool (has an illustrated manual and cool box art) and I think it'd be nice to donate it to someone who actually does collect PC games.

For that price why not right. I often find PC games at thrift stores and what not. I never had a good enough PC to play games on. Always stuck with the consoles.
Def a nice gesture to give it to someone who collects.
