Everybody that owns Wisdom Tree games should play them near the end of the year, I'll join the fun.

^Better play them before Mayan doomsday....

Yeah right, like anybody actually buys into that nonsense.  Tongue

But I digress. I went hog-wild with the thrifting on my day off, and grabbed the following:

- PlayStation with AV cord and AC adapter, 2 memory cards, Putter Golf (disc only), and Pac-Man World 20th Anniversary (CIB), $7.99: I figured I'd finally bite the bullet and add a PS1 to my collection. The price seemed right.

- GBA SP / DS-Heavy AC adapter, $1.99: I've been snapping up so many second-hand GBAs and heavy DSes lately, so this is a pretty vital pickup.

- Mario Kart Double Dash (no manual)(GBC), $2.99

- Outlander (cart only)(SGen/MD), $1.99

- The World Ends With You(CIB)(DS), $5.99

- Official XBox Magazine game disc #24, $0.95: this is the first XBox Magazine disc I've seen stored in a slimline snap case, rather than a cardboard sleeve.

- Skylanders Giants Lightcore Jet-Vac figure, $11.99 $1.99: Big thanks to Razor Knuckles and the Detroit Tigers for footing most of the bill on this one.  Grin

- Tokyo Pop Kingdom Hearts manga, volumes 1 & 3, $0.99 $0.78 each: not really big into manga as a whole, but I figured, for what they were asking, why not take advantage? Though I am kinda creeped out by Sora as a mer-man on the cover of volume 3; he seems a bit too cheerful with his predicament. Still, it beats slumming on Sonic X for rent money.

You'd think Square Enix and Disney would pay him enough so that he didn't hafta take on a second job between Kingdom Hearts sequels under an assumed name. On the upside: he didn't have to wear those ludicrous clown shoes on Sonic X...

@zagnorch clown shoes and other dis-proportioned everythings about people in anime/manga are one reason why i'm not a fan of the style. that and the exaggerated facial expressions for every emotion. it just makes them so annoying to look at for me Tongue . i don't mind anime inspired things that are a bit less retarded looking though, like the way they did Final Fantasy XIII...clothing and a lot of other aspects were clearly anime inspired, but the characters were a lot more believable and less annoying to watch.

sorry to rant, i just can't stand anime XD and those clown shoes brought out the rage about it.

Yeah C64 just has so many games cartridge or floppy wise heck even cassette!  Skies is another game I can finally cross off my wishlist! Also I have been wanting a RE Long box for a while it was just nice to see one at a good price and minty.

Totally agree with that! I saw the trailer before one of my TMNT DVD's and just had to have it so I tried finding it and I couldn't find it anywhere at a decent price so I finally found one!

Yes sir.  This is a must-have title for Xbox owners.  It's twice as fun with a friend too, the splitscreen co-op is great.  The soundtrack is 50s/60's classics covered by popular alt rock artists at the time of the games release.

I was going to comment on that game too. Looks like a good find there.

And here I thought I was the only real Tolkien fan 'round these parts.
