GOT MY
SKYLANDERS GIANTS
PORTAL PACK WITH BONUS LEGENDARY TRIGGER HAPPY
AND
STRAT-GUIDE IN TODAY!
FORGET ABOUT THE NL CHAMPIONS,
THESE
GIANTS ARE THE REAL DEAL!
...
Okay, I'll chill out now.
Needless to say, if you don't hear from me for a week or ten, you'll know the reason why.
Oh yeah, I also hit the Wally World near my workplace today, and picked up a couple
Skylanders Giants
map-poster thingies with stickers, and a K'Nex Donkey Kong mini figure.
No spoilers! We ordered the Wii U version for my son, but we'll probably wait until X-Mas to give it to him. Its gonna be a while.....
Well then, you better not read the blog I'll be doing. Better not let your son read it, either, 'cuz it'll definitely be traumatizing.
Oh, and here are a couple quasi-hints: Mr. Sulu and the spazzy guy from
Police Academy
. That is all for now.

I'm pretty happy with my super small score.
Over the weekend I was thinking "I can put my games in a bookcase, but what about storing/presenting them in an organized and effective way?" These should look very nice in a bookcase.
That's when I thought of using those trays big box stores use for their games inside display cases. I did a quick google search and found someone within driving distance who was selling Xbox, Nintendo, and blank trays. I bought 3 Nintendo trays and 3 blank ones. Unfortunately (aesthetically) my PS3 collection has to go in a Nintendo tray for now.
What do you guys think?

They look nice Fleach. Having a good way to display your collection is aways something that makes you take more pride in collecting in general
Most of my collection is pretty well organized except for my cartridge based Nintendo games. They pretty much just 'Tetris stacked' into drawers. Not enough room to neatly display them.
But a sweet little pickup none-the-less.

Been a while since I had a score. Very glad to add another Konami Solver box. This one was harder to find than I would have thought.

Looking for CIB NES games..........even Silent Service.
I once made the mistake of smelling a NES cart. Man, the last guy that blew in it must have had bad breath, because it smelled like a sack full of assholes.

So we got a great deal on a 3ds last month on craigslist and this week I got this one for my daughter.
Purple 3ds CIB
Super Mario 3D Land CIB
Mario Kart 7 CIB
New Super Mario Bros. 2 CIB
Tetris Axis CIB
Picked it all up for 150. Sold Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 for 25 each and Tetris for 10. So basically got the system and NSMB 2 for 90.

The same lady I got the CIB NES games from last week, text me and asked if I was interested in PS1 games. I said sure. So I picked up all these for 15.00.
Crash Bandicoot
Crash Bandicoot 2
Crash Bandicoot Warped
Crash Team Racing
Rayman
Tomb Raider
Asteriods
Centipede
Arcades Greatest Hits
and some other not so great games. LOL

Raze, I have a similar drawing of Tails from when I was a kid, even down to the orientation of the face!
