Would you consider getting a pet hedgehog? As far as I know they're not that expensive. It's obvious what you'd name it.

Actually I would like to have a pet Hedgehog. But their highly illegal here in the states as they are considered an invasive species and are not native to North or South America.

And if I somehow did have a pet Hedgehog yes I'd name it Sonic.

Edit: Someone post a small score. This thread is being derailed!

Only 3 states have made it completely illegal; California, Georgia, and Hawaii. Its also illegal in NYC and some random county in NE. Some states require permits. I say this because I remember having pet hedgehogs in my 3rd grade class, and then had to learn legal status of certain animals when I worked at a pet store.

So, my wife went to yard sales this morning. I couldn't answer my phone this morning at work so she had to go on gut instinct.  This is what she picked up.

Playstation 2 stuff all for 4.50

Eye Toy
Eye Toy Play
Eye Toy Play 2
Tom n Jerry War of the Whiskers
Disney Golf

Playstation 1 stuff all for 20

Overall not to bad.  I loved the Pac-man Puzzle and all the kids games that were in good condition.  Also I like the baseball memory card.

Um, guys? Maybe we should drop this whole back-and-forth about overly-obsessed fanboys and/or fetishists, and get back to showing off our really cool video game pick-ups.

I'm good as far as Hedgehogs go. I don't know of any pet stores/Shelters in my area that have them.

I didn't realize they were as legal as I thought. I just remembered off the top of my head from years ago about owning Hedgehogs in the states and it's legality. Maybe things have changed?

As expected, the second set of Famicom carts came today from senseiman.  Some of these are really hard to find in the database with the Japanese only writing.  Not that I wouldn't want to learn to translate, but I learned German in high school and Korean (and binary) in the Army.

Had to scrape some serious crud off of Dr Mario from yesterday's lot (with a paperclip) to get it to read, and still trying to get the Jarvas game to work.  Seven games below have yet to post the title screen as well.  Happy face slowly detracting.

Here they are - ordered as pictures:

Yossy no Tamago (Yoshi)
Bakushou!! Jinsei Gekijoh 3
Argus
Valkyrie no Bouken: Toki no Kagi Densetsu
Ninja Hattori-kun: Ninja wa Shugyou de Gozaru
Gegege no Kitaro: Youkai Daimakyou
Field Combat
Road Fighter
Momotarou Dentetsu (inop after cleaning)
Pocket Zaurus - Juu Ouken no Nazo (inop after cleaning)
Sky Destroyer (inop after cleaning)
F1 Race (inop after cleaning)
Bomber King (inop after cleaning)
Dragon Quest II (inop after cleaning)
SD Gundam Gachapon Senshi 3: Eiyuu Senki (inop after cleaning)

Received two more packages from senseiman today, one contained a Super Famicom, and the other was a bunch of Famicom games.
I spent some time cleaning up the SFC today, stripped it down and gave it a good scrub.  I'll get some pictures up of the Famicom games after I give them a good cleaning as well.

It's been a slow month for me.  I'm planning a wedding and the expenses are scary.....

Mega Man 5 came in the mail the other day from Duke, the other two I just randomly picked up to build the library.

I love all the activity the thread has been generating this month.

@Techie413: The good news is that is very unlikely any of those carts are bad, you just might need to do a better job with contact cleaning. If they are really bad you can try a bobbie-pin and a piece of magic eraser moistened with rubbing alcohol.

Went to a neighborhood yard sale today but only found 1 game related item worth buying.  But it was a very cool pick up.

Picked up this Jakks Pacific Retro Arcade for .25  Shocked
