I have 2000+ scans to add to the database, but unfortunately my scanner and my laptop weren't playing nice due to the issues my laptop was having previously. Good news is that my laptop's fixed now, so hopefully I'll be able to get in more than 30 scans before it dies this time.

Well, I hate to burst your bubble, but Duke's submitting images for his Famicom score from senseiman to the site. I don't see you guys doing it...
Also, Duke, awesome grab from senseiman.
Sorry, buying games. No money in the scanner fund.

Scanners clog up my local Goodwill. You should be able to grab one cheap or just ask around, I bet someone has an old USB one sitting in a closet.

So do scanners surpass printers as the faultiest hardware of modern time?

Decided to make a thrift store stop tonight, since I needed a couple of cheap PC parts for the office. Yeah, that's what I was thinking, or it was the reason I stopped while driving the work truck. Then I swung by the house and swapped trucks to go get some new work boots. Guess where the store I buy my shoes is located - two blocks down from the Play 'n' Trade & a block away from a local mostly CD/Movie store. I'll be different this time and point out what BELOW I found at each place. Most were just collection fillers, but I did snag a couple of great games for what I would consider great prices.
Thrift Store: A copy of the first Atari 2600 game released, the '01 Combat' cart ($2), Sears Gunslinger release for the 2600 ($2), two Coleco Head-to-Head handhelds ($1.50 ea.), Sudoku ($0.75), and a really odd Mickey & Minnie Chinese language learning game. How it ended up in Southeast Idaho I have no idea, but I had to buy it for $1. I love odd electronic releases - the reason I started a collection of old PDAs.
Play 'n' Trade: The new guy working the counter doesn't know me well enough to toss discounts my way yet, so I had to pay the full prices on these. Gotta give him time, I suppose. Capcom's Gold Medal Challenge ($2.70) for NES, Wayne's World ($2.70) for SNES, Turok ($2.70) and
Game Shark ($4.50)
for N64. Also bought NCAA and Aikman for SNES ($0.90 ea) just to swap cart backs with other games, then realized I didn't have them yet. Donkey Konga 2 ($5.40) for Gamecube.
Conker Reloaded ($16) And Morrowind GOTY Edition Platinum ($4.50) for XBox
.
Other Store that has sometimes intolerable prices, but great indie horror flicks: Ghostbusters II and Defender II for NES ($5 ea). Baseball 5 screw for NES (Dang, no Famicom adapter!) ($2).
A decent off the cuff night. but I finally have a Conker game to play.

Being a member of Club Zagnorch has its perks. Look what he sent me.

Ah, the memories. My cousins had a bunch of these Golden series children books. Every time I went over to their house as a young child I would read them. This particular book got lost in translation over the years and I totally forgot about it.
Zagnorch posted the book as a find on this thread about a month ago and I quickly remembered that book and I wanted it badly. Thanks Zagnorch for hooking me up, I'm very happy now
Also in the mail was yet another Sonic game I ran across online the other day. I can't let Sonic games slip past me, so naturally I bought it. It's a Leap Frog Sonic the Hedgehog game for their Didj system. From the back cover it looks exactly like Sonic 2.

Yeah it essentially is a full-fledged Sonic game with some some half-assed edutainment aspects thrown into the fray. The DidJ was notoriously regarded as not being much of an educational tool.
