Went to some yard sales this morning and picked up the following.

The stuff in the first two pics came from the same yard sale.  He had about 2 dozen PS1 games for 1.00, but most of them were all scratched beyond repair or missing the cover art & inst.  Here are the few that were in good condition

Parappa the Rapper PS1 CIB 1.00
Casper PS1 CIB 1.00
The Contra Adventure CIB 1.00
Crash Team Racing 1.00

Crash Bandicoot 1.00 ( is this rare? I had a hard time finding it on the ebay )
Crash Bandicoot 2 1.00
Crash Bandicoot Warped 1.00

Picked these up in a subdivision sale.

Panzer General PS1 CIB 2.00
One Piece GC CB 1.00
Disney Princess Enchanted Journey Wii CIB 2.00 ( I know, I know ) ( For my 6 year old daughter )

My wife found the two Pokemon things in this next pic.  Which I just found out are worth some $$

Pokemon - Pokedex ( This thing is actually pretty cool )  .25
Pokemon Virtual Pikachu  .50
Skies of Arcadia: Legends- COVER ART ONLY- NO GAME Sad  .10

Atari 2600 system, 3 controllers 1.00 ( I couldn't believe it.  I've never seen a system for 1 dollar ) Needs a cleaning

Picked up a 27" TV for the man cave.  Someday I'll buck up and get a flat screen.  But for now it beats the 19" tv I had down there.  HA HA 10.00

Went to a really weird yard sale with extremely low prices on EVERYTHING and there was some good stuff there.  Looked like a "Wife getting rid of EX Husbands stuff sale".  Come to think of it this was the same sale that I got the Atari 2600.  Anyway Picked up this Beauty.  And I am taking it to a place tomorrow to see if it is the original or a remake.  If its original it has sold for 40 & 80 on Ebay.

1977 Star Wars Movie Poster  .25

And last but not least my wife spotted this under a table that I walked right past.

Nintendo Power Lunch Box w/ Thermos  3.00

Finished off my really good weekend with a few more garage sales. Unlike the GC I bought last week, this one is in full working order. Harvest Moon is going in my FS/FT (no manual). Spent about ten bucks total.

Got a great deal from Big Lots.  They have 25% off all there games.  Got Endless Ocean for Wii and Ispy Castle for DS for $10.  Batman Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition and Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection for Xbox 360 for $15.  I even put back some great games such as FF XIII and Oblivion.  Just not enough time to play games. Just finished doing my inventory updates from my trip to a video game swap meet. Here's what I scored.

Sonic Spinball and Sonic 2 were a bit of a nostalgia/impulse buy that I jumped on without trying to haggle, but oh well.

Secret of Mana and Super Mario RPG for $40 each... not the best deal, but at least I talked the guy down $10 each. I'm a sucker for RPGs.

Stopped at a buddy's little nook at a local flea market yesterday.  He's also a collector, so I wasn't getting thrift store prices, but he hooks me up pretty well.

Duke was free, since he had two and my current copy is jewel case only.  I saw the stack of random Sega pamphlets sitting there, and he let me take them all.  Epyx controller for Atari was also free.  $5 for the three manuals.

I bought a Fighter Stick SN from another shop recently, and it turns out he had the box.  The Batman figure was also a toss-in.  Cool!  Most games were just a couple of bucks, but notables are:
Sonic CD, looks great.($10); Bible Adventures ($4), Mortal Kombat II 32x ($3), Knuckles Chaotix 32x ($15).

Free MVC3 poster.

I don't know what I'm going to do with the MJ banner and unused WalMart standee, but I couldn't resist.  I may entertain offers for either or both.

It looks like everyone has had a very busy couple of days here. Congrats to all!

I've been very busy myself. On Thursday, I received this in the mail from a trade with Noiseredux:

Friday I ran around with a big bunch of Nintendo Age guys in a big midwest meetup. During the day we all ran around the Indianapolis area raiding game shops, pawn shops, and flea markets. Everyone managed to pick up some really amazing items, and I learned a few new places to check next time I'm down that way. For myself, I picked up quite a few items.

Assorted goodies, including a Hogan's Alley with a Fami converter in it, a JP copy of Nemesis for GB, among some other great items:

Picked these SMS games up, and Columns and Shanghai are new and sealed! Blade Eagle 3D is a dupe for me (oops) so it is up for grabs:

This is an interesting one-handed controller for both the NES and Genesis:

Probably my best deal of the day was this lot for $10:

The ADAM is missing the printer, so I can't try it (hopefully I can run across one?) I already had a Coleco, but the controllers are interesting. One is a keypad that has another connector on the top (I'm guessing that you can use an Atari compatible joystick in conjunction with it?) and another controller has a replacement stick on it. There is also what looks like a Y-splitter, although I am not sure what it would be used for on a Coleco. If anyone knows more, send me a message.

Not pictured is a new copy of Hyperdimesion Neptunia mk2. Not a killer deal, but I have wanted it for a bit and $40 was good enough for me.

I finally have everything logged, cleaned, and photographed from a HUGE purchase last week.  Everything came from a single local seller.

All these N64 items are complete, although some of the boxes are worn or need to be straightened.  The extra Majora's Mask is FS/FT.

Complete: Urban Strike, Tetris/Dr Mario, Secret of Evermore, King of Dragons, CHRONO TRIGGER!
No Cardboard Insert: King Arthur's World, FF III, Breath of Fire
With Box, No Instructions: Monopoly, Brain Lord

All complete, except that Wild Arms 2 is missing manual.  And, of course, the Zelda Ages GBC is loose.  The extra FF IX and Disney's Magical Racing are FS/FT.

All complete, except that Terminator Dawn and Eternal Ring are missing manuals.
The PlayStation Magazine demos are unopened.

All complete, except the GC sports games.  Go figure.

Haven't tested the systems yet.  The XBox is a keeper, the SNES is a restoration project, and the N64 and GC are FS/FT.

The PS2 supposedly doesn't work, but haven't tested.  The game controllers and gun at lower left are some really cheesy plug-and-play.  Don't have the receiver for the DVD remote.  The GTA's are FS/FT.

If anyone needs the Breath of Fire II manual, let me know.  Would trade for something small that I don't have.

Due to the acquisition of more complete versions, the following will also be pulled from my collection and added to FS/FT:

Chrono Trigger SNES (loose), Monopoly SNES (loose), Bomberman 64 (loose), Zelda Majora's Mask (loose)

That controller should also have a Famicom port underneath...

Awesome grabs!  I've been looking for the Futurama game forever.

Awesome pick ups Techie.  Love the CIB goodness.

Love the Hyperboy Duke.  I've never seen one of those before.

I didn't consider that the slot on the bottom was for a cartridge, but you're right.  Maybe this thing will get some use after all.

So, those controllers can play Famicom games? I've seen a whole whack of them at the nearby thrift store. I just thought they were plug-and-play knock offs of real games. I guess I was wrong. Might have to pick one up next time I find one.
