Well the Shadow the Hedgehog game is... interesting to say the least. It is funny hearing Sonic characters swear in a game and of course holding guns. Proof that Sega was aiming towards an older audience with the Sonic series.
The thing that sold me on checking out
Shadow the Hedgehog-- if only for a goof-- was the trailer featuring him wielding guns, and riding a motorcycle into battle. Meanwhile, he can shoot energy bolts from his hands, and wears jet-shoes that propel him at near-Sonic speed. I just find it amusing SEGA's efforts to add badassery to a character who didn't need it at all.
Anyhew: I decided to stop off at a Goodwill that had priced up its games to crack-smoking levels after having been remodeled last year (which is what happens when a Goodwill gets remodeled around these parts, BTW).
Fortunately, it looks like the place has come back to its senses, and I found a few CIB titles that were decently priced at $3.49 a pop:
-
Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind (XBox)
-
House of the Dead III (XBox)
-
Tomb Raider (Saturn)
I also discovered the following CIB titles:
-
Pinball Hall of Fame: The Gottlieb Collection (PS2) $2.99
-
Unreal II: The Awakening (XBox) $1.95
Finally, I discovered yet another Japanese PS2 title:
-
Silpheed: The Lost Planet (CapKore rerelease) $3.49
If I keep up this collection of Japanese PS2 games, I'll have no choice but to buy an NTSC-J PS2...
