Thanks guys, but you missed the moral of the story. It was that Duke is awesome for tracking down these games I wanted in pretty short notice!

^ Thats what a true gamer would say, but hope all is well Crabby.
As for myself I do have some pickups.
Picked up Forza Motorsport 4 cause I love and mean LOVE simulator racing games. Probably boring to most people but I love the technical side of racing. And of course I love cars.
Also as a very nostalgic pickup I ordered Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog the entire series on DVD cause I loved that show as a kid. And I'm a Sonic nut, so it's only fitting I got these.

Went to an indoor Flea Market this evening and picked up the following:
Guitar Hero II PS2 3.00

Gangster Alley CIB Atari 2600 2.00
The Jungle Book CIB PS1 2.00
Donkey Kong Land 3.00
Star Wars Trilogy 3.00

Left the flea market and went to a thrift store. They had half a dozen NES games, all were overpriced. I asked the guy if he would sell just the dust covers for .50 each. I thought about it and said sure.

Now I gotta go order those. I remember watch those cartoons on VHS as a kid.
Those were the good old days of Dr. Robotnik not Eggman. He'll always be Robotnik to me.

Robotnik for life! I'll watch some episodes when I get home. Maybe I'll remember the one with Tails trying to be Sonic.
Someone should watch Family Matters, and replace Urkel with Sonic one day. See how well it works out.

Its a great series that I haven't watched in about 17 years. Glad to see you guys call him Robotnik, or as Sonic sez Robuttnik.
Also the Family Matters reference was awesome.

Haha Robuttnik!
After reading your post with the pictures of the cartoons I had to at least watch the intro on youtube. Ahhh... good memories.

We're all rooting for you to hit the dance pad, err...Power Pad soon, Crabby.
I'm in the middle of annotating, photographing, and cleaning a really big lot I purchased this week, including some very integral CIB SNES and N64 games. But tonight I made a purchase that doesn't require a pic. Stopped at the Play n Trade to pick up some GBA/DS games for a workmate's son that is currently bedridden. And to defer from the initial story to promote my boys, the guys there sold me all the kids games I wanted to buy, tagged at $5 or less, for $0.50 each. Damn, they are awesome, and he'll love them.
SO, when I first walked in, I was greeted with a smile by 'The Saver', Kyle - my guarantee that awesome retro stuff is not going anywhere if I don't know about it yet. He pulled it out of the drawer that he was storing it in (the other worker mentioned that he didn't even know that had come in, so GO MY MAN!), He slid a CIB Super Mario RPG for the SNES across the counter. I smiled, as everyone reading this had damn well better! Price tag, after membership, $30. And my only worry is that my current copy of Mario RPG is sitting in my SNES right now, and I might have to decide which copy looks better and swap out the boards. My saved game is on there!

Relax, I can fix it.

Went to one of those huge fundraising garage sales this morning. Didn't have great spot in line so I figured I was beat. I was wrong. Somehow I got my hand on a ziploc bag with all the DS stuff and a copy of Mega Man Legends in the case for Monster Rancher 2 (that's correct, I now have a loose MML and an empty case & manual for MML2. I guess those are good problems to have).
This was an especially good morning for me as I did not own a DS (nor a GBA) until now.
The other icing on the cake (besides all that
choice
DS software) was the grand total:
FIVE DOLLARS

lol at your MML and MML2. I have a similar problem where I found Lunar 2 (SCD) with the appropriate back insert and disc, but the manual for the first game. Drives me nuts not having either one complete.
You should probably PM ixtaileddemonfox about those Makeup Artist and Fashion Studio games too. I bet he'd go nuts over them

I've been as broke as they come lately, but I did manage to pick up a nice Wii rarity along with some thrift finds:

F1 2009 - Gamestop ~$17
Super Metroid + Pokemon Pinball - thrift store $6.44
SNES question: I don't currently own a snes so I can't test Super Metroid, but should I be worried if it sounds as if the board is vertically loose inside the cart?
