I just made the blunder of listing Pokemon Yellow for 9.49, I didn't realize the other copies I was looking at are broken =/ shiet

Did it sell?  I'd pull it ASAP if you didn't.  I've sold copies of Pokemon Blue for ~$28 with no problem on Amazon.  Around Christmas, I've seen Yellow head upwards of ~$40.

Pokemon Yellow (Cartridge only) usually sells for around Ł10 ($16.06 according to Google) on eBay UK.

Lowest price on Amazon is ~29 shipped.  I've personally seen them go for ~$40 during the holidays.  People will pay much more than you may think.  I'd love to see what a boxed copy could get around the holidays.

I could blink and sell a Pokemon yellow for $20, so putting a $29 price tag on it is fine if there is no hurry.

I sold a Pokemon Blue on Amazon for ~$29 shipped, and it was up there for less than 12 hours.  I'd definitely hold out a bit and try to squeeze a few extra bucks out of it.  Smiley

On Sunday my girlfriend went to the local flea market and found 3 SNES games sitting in a guys random pile of stuff.  She asked how much for them, and he asked if she had a system to play them on.  She said yes and he told her to just take them, he was tired of looking at them.  So I got Super Mario All-Stars, Final Fight 2, and Super Punch Out for free!  Better yet was I didn't have any of these games yet either.

Not bad Wempster.  Super Punch Out is very under rated, I absolutely love that game.

I have a very large small score coming In a few days. I got a nice surprise influx of play cash and I let loose. Can't wait to share!

^ Damn, old Nintendo games are overpriced even in the US. Pokémon is fun, but those prices are high for 10+ year old games. I wouldn't pay $30 for Pokémon Blue. More like...$5.

Bought two games, both new:

Mass Effect 2 - PC - €7.5
Brütal Legend - PS3 - €7.5

same here about the pokemon games, i had no idea they went for that much loose. in the wild i wouldn't have seen myself spending more than $10 on an original generation pokemon game.

I don't buy them to play, but they make great sell/trade items. I agree that they seem overpriced to me.

Hell no they're not overpriced!  There is no price tag to be granted the access to catch 'em all!
